      Q:Am I correct in assuming that the left handed base that comes with this kit is Vigo model #VG06019XXX3648? Or is it different? I am concerned about the exact drain location; I can’t relocate the existing plumbing. Thanks

      A:  The shower base for this shower enclosure model is the VG06019WHT3648. The drain is located 12" x 12" from the rear left corner of the shower.

        Q:The photo shows this installed without a shower pan, can this be installed as pictured if I was not going to have a shower pan and installed straight on the floor?

        A:  Hi Kristy, Thank you for your interest in VIGO! Yes, model VG6012BNCL36 is designed to be installed without a base and the base does not come with this model. The model with the base would be different model number and that model number would either contain a WL or WR indicating a Left Base or Right Base.

              Q:IN ADDITION to the glass that comes with the enclosure are there 2 pre-fab walls for the OTHER two non-glass surfaces to complete a 4-wall surface? So, looking for a prefab 2-wall kit that matches the dimensions of this shower in lieu of tiling those two walls. thanks.

                      Q:I want to use this without the base, what are the exact dimension of the fixed panel? Can this be install either right or left door opening? Is their the same model but with a 30 inch door (not 34)

                      A:  the fixed panel on all VG6042 shower enclosures is 7 7/8" wide. The door widths would be 28" or 34". the 36" model will have a door that is 28" wide. This model would fit openings from 30"-36". The larger door 34" (42" model), is for openings that are 36"-42" .
