A: From our installation guide: Stainless steel or hot-dipped galvanized nails are recommended. Use
fasteners designed for wood trim. An 8d round-head nail or #8 trim screw may be used and works well with Inteplast TRIM.

A: I wouldn't, just due to the cost of the product. The new plastic spray paints most likely would work fine. Other paints will probably peel.
