            A:  It is acceptable to use an inverter provided that the inverter used has sufficient power to start the unit and maintain adequate power while the compressor is running. Failure to have sufficient power to the appliance can result in poor operating performance and potential damage to the appliance. Any product failures resulting from power supply related issues by a inverter will not be covered under warranty.

              Q:Your manual says this runs at 120v and .8 amps which is 96 watts but the many answers from you state "50 Watts - Start Up Amps 0.7 - Running Amps 0.63" Which one is true? for model HVDR31GBE.
