Questions and Answers for Worx Leaf Pro High Capacity Universal Leaf Collection System

A:  It all depends on how you feel about disassembling it and clearing out the crap that will not chop.. a rake is a much better option.

A:  The vacuum will pick up almost anything, however the debris must be able to be cut up inside the blower vacuum, If not it will clog.

A:  No, because the blades of the blower would "mulch" the paper or plastic bags and most likely ruin your blower. This is meant to only be used for vacuuming leaves and very small twigs.

A:  I don't know as the WorX blower and vacuum that I use to suck up leaves does a good job tho not super fast. I would be worried about the plastic bags and if they would get ground up or just gum up the machine.

A:  I’m not sure. I think the high capacity tube that allows attachment to a trash can could handle it, but not sure about the Worx vacuum. I found it had difficulty with moist leaves or large leaves. Anything it sucks up has to pass through a spinning fan before traveling into the can and I’d be worried plastic would gum things up. If something gets stuck in the fan, you have to disconnect the hose, dig it out, reconnect and start over. When that happens repeatedly, it’s quite annoying.

A:  It works with all Worx models including that one. It comes with a generic adapter as well so it will fit any.

A:  It’s adjustable so I think it pretty much works with anything

A:  It looks like your blower has no suction side to pick up leaves . If that is true it will not work

A:  This collection system is meant to be used with a Worx leaf vacuum system ... if you have a Worx unit that is ONLY a blower ... not a combination blower AND vacuum ... it won’t work.

A:  Yes, it is compatible with that model.

A:  Yes, I purchased it because the zipper on my bag broke and it was cheaper and easer to use than the bag. I don't have to empty the bag so often now.

A:  Yes it never attaches to the Worx bag. It always attaches directly the Worx unit itself. It fits all Worx models.

A:  For a hand held mulcher it did a pretty good job.

A:  Neither. It hooks up to your power mulcher through the universal attachment. Then the trashcan attachment allows the mulched leaves to be funneled into the trashcan.

A:  Your Worx blower/mulcher does the mulching. My early model, about five years old, breaks leaves down to no more than postage stamp sized pieces and are easily used for winter mulching. The collection system never clogs and I can fill a 55 gallon leaf bag in about ten minutes.

A:  I pretty much mulches the leaves ... they get chopped up pretty good ... hopes this helps.

A:  This product does not do anything except offer a pathway into a bag or can. I use this in conjunction with an Echo 25.6cc gas blower/vacuum that has a metal blade which mulches the leaves. Works like a charm.

A:  What is in the picture is just a top that goes on top of a large can

A:  If you use this with the WORX blower vac it does VERY well. All it is for is to let you do more..

A:  It semi mulches them. For the most part they are just sucked in, but if dry it mulches them pretty good.

A:  It completely mulches everything.

A:  The leaves are next to mulch , I would have 20 to 22 bags (35 gal. size ) with the Worx I now have 8 to 10. bags now.. The Worx will not mulch leaves it is your vacuum that is the mulcher.The Worx is just an adapter to put the leaves from your blower-vac to a larger trash can with a 35 gal.trash bag.

A:  The unit comes with a universal adapter so it will fit either way.

A:  The inside diameter of the hose is 3 1/4 inchs

A:  I don"t see how a universal adapter at one end of the hose tells me what I can connect to the other end of the hose. I want to use the universal connector to connect to the leaf vaccuum and the hose to connect to a debris separator and collector instead of a trashcan. For this purpose, I personally would find the diameter of the hose to be useful information.

A:  This item comes with an adapter included. The product name is universal leaf collection system, so it will fit your system either way.

I understand that the product comes with an adapter at one end of the hose to connect to my leaf vacuum and I plan to use that adapter and the hose, but I don't want to use the mesh trashcan cover. I want to connect the hose to a debris separator and a larger filter bag. So, I just want to know the size of the hose.

A:  Yes, this will work with the Echo ES 250 shredder/blower vac.

A:  It's universal so it will attach to any product with its customized universal attachment.

A:  The product has "Universal" in the name with a universal attachment, so any vac can be customized to its universal fitting.

A:  Only if your vac is capable of processing muddy water.

A:  To prevent the bonnet from coming off your trash can, you need a trash can with an overhanging lip on it to tighten the cord under the overhanging lip, then it won't come off.

A:  Not perfect, but a square can works better. The closing mechanism is weak.

A:  We appreciate you providing feed back on our product. A small tip for creating a tight fit would be to cut a slit at the top of each handle(deep enough for the fabric to slide in). This was noticed on Youtube as a tip one Valued Worx customer shared. We appreciate your time and patience.

A:  Trash bins for use with this product should have wider lip to cinch the system to best.

A:  You will need a trash can that has a "lip" on the top edge, I had to modify my can to create a "lip" on the hinged side, so it stays on the can now.

A:  You might be able to use on the dry side of a wet/dry vac.....but I would go to worx.com and ask a pro for more advice before using it ! Good luck..

A:  Unit is designed to pick up leaves, not water, works best with dry leaves.

A:  Only dry and occasionally moist.

A:  No. Wet/dry vacs are not designed to pass the leaves out the air exhaust port when in vac mode.

A:  No......it does not like anything wet.
