A: Hello there. Thank you for your question. While typical saws require an Allen/hex key to switch blades, the Worx Axis features a tool-less blade change you can operate with just one finger. Simply push and hold the switch at the cutting head to open the mechanism. Remove or insert a blade. Release the switch to activate the mechanism to keep your blade secure. -Shelby L.

A: Hello Rick. Thank you for your question, for tackling a larger task I do recommend purchasing a higher amperage battery or an additional battery. WORX offers high capacity 20V 4.0Ah and 6.0Ah lithium batteries that will increase your runtime with twice the amp hours of our standard battery. By purchasing this tool it will include a standard 2.0ah battery and charger. -DestyneeE

A: If you have any other 20v Worx batteries they will work with this tool. However I was surprised at how long the the 1.5 Ah battery which comes with this tool lasted. I have fast charge battery chargers from previous Worx purchases and use them all the time. The standard charges take too long.

A: I ordered the saw on line and picked it up at Home Depot. I wanted a lighter saw that would still do the work I needed. It arrived with instructions and two blades. I was able to trim branches easily. I was pleased with the performance.

A: See the picture. The large blade is 5 3/4 with a four and three-quarter cutting surface. The next is an inch smaller, the last two ate 3 1/4 with a 2 a 3/8 cutting edge.
The second is label timber the third aluminum and the fourth steel. In the first the label were off except for Corte but there is a picture of something that looks like a 4 x 4. Maybe it’s a 2 x 2.

A: WORX does not directly provide jigsaw or reciprocating saw blades for the Axis saw, however, it will fit any blade of these types as they are universal. You may use any jigsaw or reciprocating saw blades found in your local hardware store.

A: I have used it to cut laminate flooring. The saw is easy to use for that. Of course, you have to use the appropriate blade...... the right blade will determine how accurate your cuts will be.

A: 4 blades. One large for straight cutting, and two small for jigsaw use -- one for metal and one for wood. The fourth is definitely for wood, though thinner and longer than the two jigsaw blades mentioned. See the picture.

A: A correction to my prior post. 4 blades; one aluminum, one steel, one longer for wood, and a more hefty blade. Ive only used the hefty blade so far in the straight position for heavy palm fronds
