A:  It should be but if you are really concerned, try a glass bottle sprayer

A:  Personally I would not use it for food

A:  It depends on the type of oil you are putting in the bottle. Citrus oils like lemon, orange, grapefruit, etc. breakdown plastic and should be used in a glass or stainless steel bottles. If you are using an oil that doesn't contain a citrus I would say it would be probably be okay.

A:  Yes, you may need to clean it every so often with alcohol though

A:  ABSOLUTELY NOT. Not sure if this bottle is made differently since the question was posted, but I double checked with the sales rep at Home Depot and was told I can use acetone but not for long term storage. This bottle was useless after 5 minutes!!!

A:  Yes, you can use acetone, muriatic acid, mineral spirits and lacquer thinner, in this sprayer.

A:  I'm pretty sure you can use it for that. I used it for germicidal bleach. Just DON'T fill it too much because it will brake.
