Hello Thank you for your question.. The grout color in Metro Campagnola is gray.
Hello Francine, Thank you for your interest in Smart Tiles. They can easily be removed causing little to no damage as long as installed and removed correctly and the surface under is acceptable and in good condition. To remove you simply heat the corner/edge with a hair dryer and gently begin pulling up the tile. Continue to apply the heat to soften the adhesive as you lift the tile. Be sure not to force the tile as this could cause damage. Any leftover residue can be removed with household cleaner.
Hello, Thank you for reaching out. Smart Tiles are heat resistant up to 49C (120F). They can be installed on a fireplace surround as long as they are 8in from any direct heat source or open flame. We do not suggest installing them on the hearth however as they could be damaged but falling embers, wood etc.
Hello Adam, Thank you for your interest in Smart Tiles. The tiles can easily be cut to the size or shape you need with a sharp utility knife regardless of the orientation. Be sure to measure and use a straight edge for the best results.
Hello, Thank you for your interest in Smart Tiles. The 0.27in is the dimensions of the package (4 tiles). Each tile is 0.07in thick.
Hello, Smart Tiles can be installed over existing tiles as long as the existing surface is smooth and without texture. You will also need to take into consideration the existing grout lines. If they are very deep the lines may show with certain models. We suggest trying one tile before completing a full installation.
It should adhere. But whatever it is placed on. The surface must be cleaned. And if the existing tile is peeling and falling off. These tiles will.also come off ofcourse . I used mine over kitchen to cover damage drywall, and over shower stall and over bath tub as back splash.. does very well against water and moisture
Hello, Thank you for your interest in Smart Tiles. Our products are certified NFPA (ASTM E84) and IBC Class B. They are heat resistant to 49c (120F).
Hello Jaina, Yes, you can install them behind the stove since they are resistant to the heat. However, if you have a gas stove without a back control panel or metal plate, you must respect a safety zone (without Smart Tiles) of 20 cm (8 in.) above the surface of the stove in order to prevent direct exposure to an open flame and we recommend to install our Smart Panel. For countertop appliances such as toaster ovens, mini ovens and others, keep a space of 6 cm (2 in.) between Smart Tiles and the appliance. It is important to note that some spices with high density pigment color, such as turmeric, can stain the tile permanently.
