It sounds like the paint may still be in the curing process since you mentioned it comes off easily with your fingernail. To fix this, I recommend gently cleaning the surface to remove any dirt and loose paint. Then, you can apply another coat while maintaining a wet edge to get an even finish. Allow the new coat to fully cure and harden before trying to clean or scratch it. The paint is fast-drying and has a 2-week cure time compared to the typical 4 weeks. If the coating remains tacky after it has cured, we recommend gently cleaning the surface with soap and water to remove that. Hi Kss2209, thanks for your review. I'm sorry to hear you didn't get the coverage you expected and that you had to strain the paint. It's definitely not normal for our products to have dried pieces if paint inside the container; if stirring doesn't resolve this, I wouldn't recommend using the paint. Also, please keep in mind that darker colors tend to require more coats for full coverage, so I recommend applying another coat in columns; reload your roller after each column for the best coverage.
