The table top had a few knots and voids, I wanted to stain the piece but if i used wood filler the stain would not cover the area, I was not able to use this for what i wanted.

Not quite as good as the 17" ones I had...

It's supposed to be usable as a table top, but the one we received was defective: one of the boar...
It's supposed to be usable as a table top, but the one we received was defective: one of the boards in the glue-up had a rabbet at the end, which meant a hole in the edge. We were under time pressure (it was for a wedding), so just turned that bit to the back, but I am disappointed in the quality control--it should never have left the factory in such a state. The packaging also did little to protect the soft wood, but the dings sanded out easily.
