Very straight without knots

I had to pick through a lot of wood to find straight pieces, most of it had major curves and bows in it , took me close to 15 minutes to find a few half way decent boards

I had to dig and dig. Literally took every SINGLE board off the shelf to find 15 "straight" boards. I had to settle on a number of them. These are supposed to be select grade, not construction grade.

Wood quality was very good. Price was way to high. If I could have found some rough cut I would have gotten it. But mills are not open on weekends.

I had to go through about 20 pieces before I found 2 good pieces that weren't warped or bowed. The quality used to be better for this product, but not so much now.

I selected the boards for trim . I treated the boards with polyurethane as and the boards look good.

Wood quality isn’t always the best at HD but I was able to find an okay board.

The 1x 3 8’ boards were MUCH straighter than the 6’ boards

A great board, one of the finest boards I ever bought.

The wood worked very well for my bench that I restored with the new wood.

After searching the haystack of corkscrews, I finally found a board that was mostly straight and with a minimum of knots, cracks or splinters... and by the weekend, it too had changed shape. What happened to the wood selection?

These lumber pieces worked very well. Extremely hard for a pine. But, they must grow them hard in New Zealand.

this would was twisted and full of knots . The only reason I took it was there was very limited inventory
