Great for mixing joint compound
I've used this to mix joint compound over the past 4 years. It's a tool that you won't need to use everyday, but it sure is nice to have when you need it. It makes mixing compound a breeze. I use this on my cordless drill and mix it in a 5 gallon bucket and then clean it off good when I'm done and it will be ready to go for the next use. This has met my expectations so far and there isn't anything that I dislike about it.

This is nice little time saver. All you need is a drill, A 1/4"-3/8" or 1/2" drill chuck will work, The back of the tag says "Caution" Requires heavy duty drill for proper mixing in low speed, be your own judge. I used a Dewalt 18 volt 1/2" drill. It has 2 adjustable/removable mixing wheels that are identical so you don't have to worry about putting them back on wrong. Mixed up a 3/4 full gallon can for touch up, once mixed I had an old gallon can that I put water in, ran the mixer in it, yes I brushed off the excess first, removed the mixer out of the drill and set to the side. Did my touch up, Done. Wiped down the mixer, put in my painting supply box ready for the next job. This is one of those little tools you may not use everyday but is nice to have when you need it. Get one.

Does a great job at mixing paint. I have been doing a remodeling project and have had various uses for this mixer. I have used it with mixing drywall mud and paint. It did a really good job in both occasions, a lot better than a typical wooden paint stirrer. So many times paint sits a few days after you bring it home from the store and it needs to be mixed really well again, this little helper will make it as good as the day you brought it home. It easily fits in your drill and with an slow easy pace it mixes thoroughly. Cleans up really easy too, I used a bucket of warm water and hose. The mixing paddles are adjustable by using the little wrench that comes with it. The end comes off for use but is able to be reused to hang the mixer on your peg board or hook in your paint supply area. It is very reasonably priced, too, it would make a nice easy gift for someone who does DIY stuff.

I need to mix joint compound, wall & ceiling texture and paint for drywall repairs at my house. I have enough repairs to do that I plan to buy dry mix for the joint compound and texture and then I’ll need to paint the repairs, so I wanted a tool that would help me with mixing all of these things. The ANVIL 11" Mini Power Mixer met all of those requirements.
Most of the power mixers I saw had a fixed mixing wheel near the end of the almost 11 inch shaft and in order to get a consistent mix throughout the container, you would have to raise and lower the drill a number of times but this product has two 2-1/2 inch mixing wheels that can be moved up or down – depending on how much product you’re making - to help to get a thoroughly blended mix faster. Everything is made of plated steel, which means that clean-up is easy. The mixing wheels also can be removed from the shaft to aid in the clean-up chores. The Allen wrench required to move the mixing wheels is included.
I’m very pleased with how well my joint compound was mixed. The lumps were quickly eliminated and I was able to get the consistency I wanted with no trouble. This tool is a real price performer. I recommend it highly.

Nice small paint mixer for gallon and quart cans. This is steel, so it's sturdy and washable. It has wheels which are angled to mix the paint quickly and efficiently, and there is an upper and lower adjustable wheel. I tried it in a gallon paint can which had a couple inches of paint, and I was satisfied both with the quick mixing and also the ease of cleaning the mixer. It fits on a standard cordless drill and you may keep the hanger on the steel shaft for hanging storage. I mixed a can of turquoise paint and it was a uniform consistency in about a minute.
