We replaced treated 2”x12” boards with these non slip treated stair treads. We have no more slipping on wet stairs. I highly recommend them to help prevent falling down the steps.

These are really great. I replaced old ones that didn’t have the traction grooves. These are much better. They definitely provided better traction. Some in the store were warped or had loose knots but most of them were really good. I’d buy them again.

Worked great. I used one tread to make two small steps for my deck.

Came in a destroyed box. UPS was re-taping the box in their truck. Steps had large knots in them, one all the way thru. I cannot believe that someone in good conscious would ship out steps in that condition. Steps are weight bearing and should not have a knot with a hole in it that will eventually break in two. I will never buy sight unseen again, at least not from Home Depot.

The new wood is working out to be exceptionally good for the use of replacing a step on our back porch. It’s even pre ridged ( cuts in wood) which eliminated extra costs for slip resistant tape or paint. It has proven out to be a great opportunity for us. Thank you Happy Tina

My biggest problem was that I had to go to three different stores to get everything I needed to rebuild my stairs. I was able to replace my really bad stairs in about an hour.

Excellent product. It's hard to find them though as the inventory is hard to come by at times.

When ordered the description indicated that the tread was 48" long. When arrived the tread was 46 3/4" long. 1-1/4" less than what I was looking for. Trying to match existing treads. That didn't work out for me.

Had to cut the wood to make steps for a deck - wood cut nicely and didn't split or break off. Looks great but needs to be stained for a longer life. Would recommend!

This is the second time I am using these step treads to build a staircase. They are great looking and very strong. I would have given 5 stars but I had to look through 9 of them before I found one in good condition. The majority of the ones in stock by me were either damaged, splitting or had knots on the underside edge where they would have eventually caused a weak spot on the step. I only needed one more so this was not a big deal, but if I needed 13 to build an entire staircase I would not have found enough in this store.
