No better way to make sure the carpet has been thoroughly cleaned up from pouch accidents. The light worked as advertised and is nicely packaged in a metal case. Bright enough to use in daylight conditions. Delivered promptly by Home Depot. Too bad they don't carry them in the local stores.

I got this light to detect animal stains on carpet in my rental units. I tested it out in my own home on an area that I know my dog had an accident. It really does work!

Light was purchased to look for scorpions and is now used for multiple uses. Can not believe everything it lights up!

Works great so far. Flickers a little but is very portable.

With increasing infestations of Bed Bugs in New York City. And most people not disposing of infested materials (e.g. Beds, clothing & furniture) properly. This should become a must have in every home. Construction is solid for the value and It does what is advertised. Just a quick reminder for those who haven't seen an episode of CSI. Remember to also purchase UV Safety glasses, which is recommended by the company.

added the three AA batters, went looking were the cat liked to hide, was very lucky didn't find ant issues, checked around her litter box, found were she missed and had dried, now I can clean the area. well worth the money

I have hardwood floors that have lots of "spots" from spills, stains & cleaning over the years. We also have a cat that adopted us who occasionally leaves a putrid scent around the house (marking territory?). The scent eventually goes away, but I'd still like to wash those spots down. Anyway, I could NOT find the exact location of the odoriferous stains with this flashlight. It flashes a purple light so all the spots on the floor now have a purple background, but so what? I could see the spots without flashing the light. In terms of stain recognition, I don't understand what exactly this light is supposed to do. As I'm writing this review, I realized perhaps I should not have used it in the daytime. Maybe it only works in the dark. ... ?

The price was reasonable and it was delivered within a few days with secure packaging.

All those leds give off a very strong beam of ultraviolet light.

Using to look for pet urine. Works well for this. Happy with it.

Solid construction and it lights up what i am looking for with a uv light.

Bought it to find scorpions at night. Works very well. When I started using I found several scorpions outside and was able to kill them. Now I never find one - was able to get rid of them by using the light.

I was very pleased with the help at the store when I placed the order. Items showed up on time.

HD had a little problem with shipping to the store but they handled that well with little fuss. I got the light, read the directions and promptly loaded the batteries wrong so I thought it didn't work. But... I checked my work and found my error. The light worked well once I got the batteries in right. I bought it to detect pet stains. So far I believe it will not detect really old stains but it will certainly show fresh stains. I tested it on an Underpad with a fresh pet stain and on an area of carpet that had been stained and cleaned some time ago but still retained an odor. At this point I am satisfied with the light but will continue to test.

I purchased the UV flashlight to help find pet stains. I knew where one stain was and the flashlight could not identify it.

Bought this "scorpion detector" to help locate cat urine in my carpet. Works perfectly to find the spot so that you can accurately apply the expensive enzyme cleaner effectively without waste. Darken the room and it is much easier. (Glad I never found any scorpions!)

Great light. You'd be amazed what it shows. I'll take it with me when I travel.

A handy portable UV light that shows pet urine, kitchen stains, and other features normally missed by eye. Very affordable, bright, and works as well as a fluorescent black light tube.

While I haven't seen a scorpion it has helped out around the house and in rentals. If you give a kid a flashlight, they'll point it in your face.This is one you don't want to look into. Easy on and off, heavyweight rugged design with good grip. I haven't used it long enough to burn through a set of batteries as battery life was my concern, so I can't really comment there.
