Lumber was okay. Had to look through a lot of boards to find a straight non-cupped piece for my project.

Best cedar board I have found in a store

I have a 20 year old cedar deck. After contracting to have it power washed and resealed I discovered some of the boards in the deck were rotting. After the power wash was complete, I bought this lumber to replace the rotted boards before sealing the deck. I did the same a few years ago. It helps to keep my deck safe and in good condition.

Home depot cedar has gotten better but still is not as good as lumber yards

I was rather dissapointed with the premium cedar selection. I only needed 1 board and after looking through about 20, I finally found one that wasn't cracked, splintered, or had a big gouge in it.

The wood was great looks great on the railing.

had to pick thru pile of boards to fine ones that were straight.

All the boards were good except for one which had predrilled holes in it.

Used it for a picnic table

S4S means sanded on all sides, this was rough, furry, and splintery. On top of that there are gouges in the boards, staples, and paint from labeling. What a waste of money and time.

Had to sort thru entire stock to find on that would work for what I needed. Very expensive for the over all quality.
