Cut by 5 year olds
I bought these for the convenience of not cutting my own. I quickly realized it was a mistake. Once I started building the steps I saw that the measurements of each didnt match with the next. I had to notch my riser because the center stringer was a quarter inch wider than the other two.

Had to rebuild my daughter's front porch and stairs as the guy who built it 15 yrs ago didnt use any pressure treated lumber on the stairs or decking... took down everything except the posts and railings and rebuilt it. Everything worked out well.. had to put new pvc lattice up to make it look nice! waiting for a week of dry weather to stain and waterseal...

Used these for short deck steps and overall, they worked out pretty good except the step for one was 6.5" instead of 6.75" so I had to return it. I used them with Trex boards and they fit them well. I mounted them to the deck with 4" screws and brackets. I needed about two steps on either side of the deck, so I just set the last step in a concrete block. I put galvanized screws on the bottom of the last step before the pour for added stability.
