Easy install, converted hardwire range hood to plug because the hardwire in my home wasn’t long enough to reach the wire housing on the right side of the hood, this gave me enough cord and converted the home hardwire to an outlet.

The replaced a 34 year old cord that was on my old range vent hood. I replaced the vent hood and the cord at the same time. So far, it works, but it’s not exactly high tech, so I expect it will probably out live me.

Yes it was easy to install. I'm old school and was expecting the cord to be attached to the range hood. I had to get someone to connect the cord for me. Older people aren't use to things needing to be connected.

Had to remove the plastic retainer and cut it down...
