After much work measuring & taping the stripes, the tape pulled the paint off the wall. Old fashion masking tape worked just as well at a much cheaper price.

If you are purchasing this tape in hopes that your new wall pain gets taken off when you remove the tape, this is great stuff! The wall paint was a month old. The tape was on the wall for three days. Normally I freehand but thought I would try taping to see if it was faster or sharper. When I removed the tape in several places (more than a dozen) on the painted drywall including some of the baseboards, the paint was removed too.

I've never had the issue I'm having with this tape and I've been buying Scotch Blue Sharp Lines for years. This three pack isn't' sticking to anything let alone normal painted drywall. Taped off edges last night for a project and woke up to the tape coming off every spot.

Lol don't ever buy. By far the worst painters tape I have ever used. It can't even stick to itself. Just falls apart.

Excellent for crisp sharp lines. Worked very well for my office. Very good product for creating sharp lines and designs without fear of getting paint beneath the tape.

Taped off the ceiling, window facings and the baseboard and cannot tell you how Great this product worked. I am 71 years old and this tape saved the week for me. The job looked as if a professional had painted the room. In fact I think it looked better than a professional could have done it. No paint leakage at all. Pulled off as instructed with 100% perfection. I will use this tape each and every time I plan to paint as I do not believe it could get any better. This tape is the Best-bar none.

We used it while repairing a room and it was absolutely perfection!no leaking and perfectly straight lines. I then used it on a stretched canvas and painted some straight multicolor designs and it was fabulous! I also use daily it to hold up a stencil and again, fabulous! Could not praise this enough!

I am a crafter and use it to tape down my cardstock to work on cards without them moving. We also used this tape to hold pieces of molding to a mirror after gluing it. I didn't want to use a tape that would take the paint off of the molding or stick too badly to the mirror, yet still hold the molding up while the glue dried. I was given this tape to review and I was so happy to have it!

I made sure of that before I hired them! That's how you know if painters are any good - they must use scotch 3M products!!! I have some highlighted walls and need precise lines to differentiate the 2 colors. Scotch painters tape is the ONLY product on the market that will do this! (see photo)

This tape goes on easy and removes cleanly leaving crisp lines. The width is right for most painting projects

Somehow this tape manages to come up/not stick but then when I removed it, it stripped the paint underneath. Very frustrating since you can’t just paint over it- it will be uneven.

Bought this product. Expensive. Wont even stick to itself. Tape up window, move to next one, look back and others are blowing the breeze. Waste of time. Time is money. Wont make same mistake again.

Within one hour of applying to edge of door way the tape fell down to the floor. That applied to the floor molding kept curling at the ends. Never again...

So glad I spent a few extra bucks for the sharper one. This brand is junk!

I'm in the process of updating our bathroom and opened a new roll of 3M ScotchBlue™ Sharp Lines Painter’s Tape 2093. I used it to prep some ceiling molding and tile chair rail prior to painting. This was later in the afternoon. Being 73, once I got done taping everything, I decided to call it a day. When I went into the bathroom before bedtime, I looked at the tape and found that it was coming off moulding in numerous spots on each wall. It's also very thin and tough to apply. At my age, it is not an easy task to be climbing over tubs and onto step stools and working around a chandelier. Yet, that is what I must do, again, because of the poor quality tape made by a major manufacturer that I use to trust. Unless you can somehow make me a happy camper again, I will begin my search for someone who knows how to make a painters tape that actually sticks and leaves a clean edge.

I just got finished taping trim in a bedroom and this tape is peeling off the trim and itself! Does not stick at all! I just wasted time taping and money on pure junk. Absolutely will never buy again!

This is not only the worst painters tape I have ever used. It could quite possibly be the worst product I have ever purchased of all time. Trim was painted a week ago. Completely clean of dust and debri and smooth and the "tape" doesn't even stick a little bit. This is the most attrocious product ever. I'm completely shocked that they can even sell it as tape. Shocked. Now I get to not get any painting done and drive 40 minutes round trip back to the store, wait in line outside because of this stupid carona virus to spend more money on a product that actually does what it is supposed to. This is the last scotch product I will purchase.

If it even sticks, it doesn't stay stuck to anything except plastic.

Got this a couple weeks ago to clean up some jagged lines in my painting used today and it peeled HUGE amounts of paint with it. Absolutely terrible.

This tape cost me an extra day of working just to fix the mess it left from peeling paint off the walls. Incredibly frustrating.

I won't use this tape again. It wasted a lot of my time. After I carefully applied it to my walls' edges, the tape detached and fell.

Just spent a half a day tapping and painting! Edge lock doesn’t work as well as Frog tape, and when I pulled the tape off it took the paint underneath. Never will I buy 3-M painting tape again.

Wouldn’t do any paint project without this tape. I bought the larger size for the baseboards. Amazing product!

I use it often for painting trim and baseboards at my home, but I also use it to block off designs to airbrush on my pottery. It blocks great but it is gentle enough to not pull off areas of underglazes that I have already airbrushed. Wonderful tape!!!

Oops! Used 2093EL painter's tape on painted sheetrock. Yep, pulled paper right off sheetrock. Very disappointed. See photos.
