step saver

What a great idea!

Best time saver for taping and clean-up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from 3M and could not be more pleased with this clever invention that saves both time and clean-up. Dispensing the tape and plastic using this dispenser was easy. I have always used Scotch Blue painters tape alone but this product is the best. Having the plastic attached eliminates placing/moving tarps and is less intrusive overall. The cleanup was actually easier and there were no paint spatters to worry about. I gave this a 5 star rating for excellence.

Came in Handy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Last December our washer overflowed and left water marks on the ceiling. One of the marks was out in the middle of the ceiling, so there was no problem spraying the a stain block paint for that spot. There was a second spot that was right next to the cover plate on the ceiling that needed to be masked to be painted.
I received a sample of this product free from 3M and decided to use it in order to paint the water spot. The product was very easy to use. I loved the fact that it was already on a dispenser that allowed me to use just the amount I needed without having to use a pair of scissors or my hands to rip it. The tape applied very easily and was sturdy enough to form a clean edge so that it became a perfect mask to be able to paint.
Taking the tape off was very easy, as the tape was adhesive enough to stay, but didn't leave any part of itself or the adhesive upon removal.
Good product. Much easier than trying to use another tool to block painting next to something.

Easy to Use

Finally, a third hand

The design helps apply and cut the tape with little effort. I have used the tape before and been very happy with my project outcomes, but this certainly make life a little easier.

Awesome Product

I am inexperienced in painting and while the whole experience was horrible (I am not coordinated) this tape did wonders for me and I never had to worry about getting paint on my floor.

Great Product From A Great Company

Well, it worked just great, reducing the hassle of taping of separate plastic film on the floor and trim. Talk about easy, it simply worked as advertised. We've already purchased another roll and will use it soon.

This product significantly cuts masking time.

I had to repaint part of a car and used this product to mask off adjacent areas. The product was easy to apply and the 24 inch wide attached sheet protected the car from overspray. Makes preparing for painting easy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of Scotch Pre-taped Painter's Plastic Loaded Dispenser, with ScotchBlue Edge-Lock tape to try and review. I used it when I painted the bedroom. It was easy to pull out and dispense as much as I needed to tape the trim and pull out the plastic, which extended 24". It couldn't get any easier than that! Protected my trim and the floor/carpet. No more trash bags and masking tape, this little roll has it all!

2 in 1 best product concept ever

It stuck with not problems and held for several days through bad weather. Excellent

Best part is clean up is a breeze. I left it on overnight and peeled it off the next day and it came off so easily!! I had fought with painters tapes in the past and had my worries about this one but had no issues at all. And the dispenser is refillable which is great too. I'll definitely buy this next time I have a painting project!!

Unique Scotchblue product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M sent me a free sample of the Scotch blue Pre-Taped Painter’s Plastic to evaluate, which I did. It came in an easy to use dispenser and 90-foot roll of painter’s tape already attached to 24-inch protective plastic. This is such a great idea to have the combined versatility of painters tape with plastic. I think Scotch has the best painters tape because it holds to the surface (wall) well and is easy to apply and to pull off. This painters tape removes from walls cleanly without a mess or sticky tape residue. The refillable dispenser also holds a lot more than it looks like. The dispenser is easy to hold and use too. I would highly recommend this tape if you are going to do painting where any sort of protection from spills might be needed. So handy for fast clean up too. The only recommendation would be that I would like to see the tape offered with patterns for some of us who are on the visual creative side.

Very handy

Easy to apply and nice protection
