This is the best general-purpose electrical tape I've ever used. The adhesive is very strong. Good stuff!

This is the cheapest 3M electric tape they make but it's still much better than $1.00 Chinese electric tape. I use it where it's not critical, like pipes and pipe insulation. For real electrical use, I use the better 3M brand 33 or 88.

It’s black. It stuck to itself appropriately. It’s tape. Don’t get too excited; it can’t apply itself, still needs human intervention. It is smooth, though; and didn’t mention it’s black?
