It’s unimaginable how this product looked when it was delivered to my home! The box was completely torn apart, ripped at the ends and so dirty I didn’t wanna touch it!! It took a little effort to open the box, and then parts of the countertop fell out with chunks of dirt! Home Depot is absolutely being of no help in getting this countertop replaced! As a matter of fact, my contractor was told, I needed to pay for a new one! This is ridiculous and everyone needs to know that Home Depot customer service and FedEx deliver…Both suck!!

Heavy but can be handled by one person. Easy to install, both sides are finished. Looks better than the picture on the website. This is the gray top. It comes with a backsplash but I didn't use that.

Found the feel and look of these countertops were far nicer than any of the other options they had I stock in store.. not the cheapest stuff however. I found it quite challenging to cut this stuff. Angle grinder will not work, you’ll just sit and burn the product and it puts off some harsh smoke, so be sure to have an actual respirator while cutting. Also I found the best blade to cut this was a 7” Diablo concrete diamond blade that I put in a circular saw, tile blades and grinder disc are no go

This came damaged, and the store can take it back and reorder. I had it delivered so as to not have to manhandle it. Not helpful. Have to call a number to have them come and get it and wait another week or two to get the replacement right before Christmas. Not happy with it at all other than the color is perfect.

The 8’ and 6’ countertops were delivered to my house without incident. My contractor cut them to size and installed them along with the backsplash. The finished product exceeds my expectations. They are beautiful and appear to be a better quality than the Onyx countertops in my other bathroom. I would definitely recommend this product!

This countertop looks and feels great! It's solid and I love the slim design. Unfortunately, mine was delivered to me with chipped edges in both the main slab and the backsplash. It's basically ruined. I read reviews of the product quality and saw complaints of how it would arrive. I really thought I wouldn't have the same problem but I was wrong. I'm not happy with the handling of the product, but it's an otherwise beautiful piece. That's why I still gave it a 3 star rating.

Ended up not using this countertop because it did not work with the cabinet and sink combo I had chosen. But the material is very nice.

I have purchased three pieces of the eight foot countertop. Each one of these pieces have had problems making them unusable. These were not shipping issues but manufacturing. If you order this you are asking for problems.

I picked this up for a countertop install I am doing. I always like to work with new materials and I was really impressed with this Thinscape Engineered Composite from Wilsonart. Thinscape panels are a composite material, made up of papers and resins to achieve an overall thickness of ½”. As such the panels are rated for indoor use and hot pans or electric skillets should be placed on a hot pad. Much easier to work than granite or synthetic quartz these panels can be cut and routed with carbide tipped tools which makes this a very homeowner friendly product. The panels are finished beautifully and will really work well with the bluestone colored tile in the room. One note: when cutting and finishing the edges of these panels you loose the main pattern and instead are presented with a solid color on the cut edge. I think the Wilsonart Thinscape panels would be perfect for bathroom vanity tops, or in mud rooms and laundry rooms especially where you want something more elegant that a hunk of granite.

Kitchen update time always presents challenges and opportunities. We originally were going to use this marble composite as a cooking prep area by our sink. After looking at it and using it for a while we were very happy with how it looked and worked out. In fact, we are so pleased that have now decided to install some more of it as a backsplash behind our sink in a plain blank area that needs some character. Easy to install, easy to use, looks awesome and gives the kitchen a much more high end and expensive appearance

I've never been around "solid surface" materials before and the description of this sounds amazing if you find a color you like. I actually need a vanity but want a square sink and single hole faucet and the premade vanity tops in this line come with a round sink and cutout for 4" faucet. This particular one is made for a kitchen so only comes with the rear backsplash and none for the sides, and no cutouts for faucets. I'm really not thrilled with the construction. As you can see from my photos, it is a layered construction. The middle is a solid piece with a very thin laminate type material on both sides. I became aware of the construction when it arrived and one corner was damaged (I don't care because I am cutting it down to 22" anyway and won't need that edge). However, I don't expect this to be as durable as I had hoped. The pattern is nice and this is lighter to handle than quartz or granite so better suited for an average homeowner like me.

I haven't had a chance to put this surface through the paces yet, but it has a nice feel and seems like it will hold up. Instead of a countertop, I've used it for a table, but so far it's given me no reason to believe it won't work out in this context. I will probably wind up having to trim a couple of inches off the front, but it has clear instruction on how to do so, should it be necessary. If you're using this as a counter, that shouldn't be a problem though, as it comes in standard counter depth. It also comes with a list of tools and supplies to have on hand for installation. If you do this sort of thing regularly, it's probably stuff you've already got, but if you're more of a DIYer, it would be helpful to take a look at that list before getting started

This Thinscape 6 foot long X 25 inch deep X 1/2 inch thick engineered composite countertop in Calcutta white is a beautiful addition to any cabinets, bathrooms or kitchens. Amazing design and colors. Surprising how strong and sturdy this counter top is for only being 1/2 inch thick. I though it would be wobbly and flimsy but that is not the case. Counter is heavier than it looks but light enough for to handle for one person. Very easy to clean, and nice that regular tools can be used to cut and drill into this. Sizes are spot on as you can see in the pictures. We are going to use for an outdoor grilling area that I’m building. Time will tell if this holds up to the Georgia humidity and weather but being engineered and no sealing required I think it will hold up just fine. Definitely recommend.

SOAP STONE MOVE OUT OF THE WAY! THIS IS A REVOLUTIONARY PRODUCT. This is the future for inexpensive non-stone countertops. Elegance without the fuss. Who needs those ugly cheap laminate countertops when you can get these beautiful, thin black slabs? (Or other colors.) You can cut it like any wood product, I used my 6.5 inch track saw with some painters tape to minimize product tear out(tho I’m not sure it was necessary.) You can use a fine tooth blade or you can just go back over it with a sander if you don’t have one, and when finished you can even use a router and give it a beautiful roundover edge. YOU CAN EVEN UNDERMOUNT YOUR SINK, UNLIKE every other non-stone option! It’s the way of the future for anyone who wants to do their own countertops, whether you’re a DIYer or a furniture maker. It’s got strength, beauty, and durability. This is the future of counter tops. And I am here for it.

This marble top is 72 ‘’ by 25” and a 1/2 inch thick. Measurements were right on the money as advertised. Has one edge with a beveled cut. Finish is kind of flat, but I think it will buff up to a nice glossy appearance. The back splash is 4 inches tall and matches the counter top perfectly. It will not fit the counter I got it for due to my error, but it still is going to work out for us, We are going to build a table and this will be the top for it. It comes with instructions on how to install and modify if necessary.

Poor quality, many chips

Was hoping that this could be a good alternative to a prefab piece of granite or quartz countertop, but a thinner piece. Unfortunately this is laminate and poorly made laminate at that. When the package arrived the laminate was already peeling off at the edges on both the countertop and the backsplash pieces. If you're ok with a laminate counter top look, this could be an ok option, but the quality just isn't there.

The material was easy to work, arrived without any damage, and looks terrific. I'm very satisfied with the price/value. My local store did not carry this as inventory and could not match the price that the HD website listed if I ordered in-store. Ordering delivery-to-store from home preserved the price but the time between order and pick-up notification was 2 weeks.

The product came chipped in many places making it look bad

Product was delivered promptly and is easy to work with . The packaging of the product needs to be improved. Backsplash and countertop are shipped in the same package with no packing material in between them. Several of my pieces were chipped on edges and corners during shipping. Fortunately I was able to put those edges facing down or against wall below backsplash.

Arrived broken in pieces. It’s so thin and chalky. Would never last. Very cheap product. Do not buy, should have read reviews forsy

The product was easy to cut and shape the edges. Be prepared to have extra saw blades on hand as this composite material will dull blades quickly. The product came with several chips and dinged up corners. It is not packaged well enough to be handled with a forklift and dropped on pavement.

The Good… it’s dense, it seems super scratch resistant, you can actually cut it, sorta light weight. The Bad… nothing bad but kinda spendy for what you actually get, but not crazy expensive, you need high quality bits like Frued or Whiteside and it obviously ruins them, the color on top could match the edge color better.
