This 1/4" nap roller has deep diagonal spirals that leave (surprise) diagonal track marks on the wall. Even when using the lightest of pressure when rolling, they still show on the just painted wall. Doesn't make any difference which way you make the final roll; upwards, downwards, sideways. Great if you like to have "tire tracks" on your wall

So I made a mistake in purchasing my 1/4 inch rollers from Home Depot. I would have never in a million years thought I would have an issue with a better grade roller. I even followed the directions to wash the rollers in water and spin dry before using to avoid lint lint transfer. I was using Home Depot’s GLIDDEN paint and on my beginning wall was covered with lint from the garbage roller. It looked like a painted over my cat and stuck him to the wall. How can this item even be for sale?

Not shed resistant. Had to wipe the wall clean because it looked like the wall was growing a beard

I used this product to spply the Behr Deck over paint /stain.

It works great if the wall isn't textured deeply. Only negative is sometimes the fuzz comes off.

Why ruin something that was a great product?! I've used these rollers for years and they just started making them so the felt material is attached in an odd spiral fashion so when you paint it leaves spiral lines on the wall!! I attached a picture because I couldn't believe how idiotic the new design is. Even after rinsing it and trying to fluff the roller, it still is useless.

Like the title says...it left streaks and thumped. After 1 and half rooms...I took it off . Buy a better product. I've been painting a LONG TIME...they usually even out...this one never did ...the streaking lines on the wall was the end of it

I have been using this roller for several years now and have been very happy with how it applies paint, usage, and price. I am not a professional painter - I do all the work myself. I have a lot of rooms to be painted - each room has a different color and or seperated by chair rail by doing the painting myself, well, cost savings is incredible. I am also very particular on how I paint - I feel I do a much better job than most professionals and this roller helps me achieve that.

The rollers are ok and will get the job done if you have time to roll and re-roll two or three times. It just didn’t pick up the paint well and we had to go over the same spots a lot to get good coverage.

I was painting some doors black and despite these claiming to be a “no shed” they left TONS of “hairs” all over the door. It’s a shame because these aren’t exactly cheap and I’ve had to waste a lot of paint re-doing the work.

Was not drippy at all with eggshell or flat finish finish (and did not splatter back in my face as I rolled). However, I reduced it by a star because I don’t think it’s good for flat paint. It absorbs so much of it, and then gets wasted in the end. This was not the case with the eggshell.

Did the job and held enough paint but not so much that it dripped. It did get a weird ring pattern where the woven material covering had been glued to the roller. It didn't seem to affect the application.

We decided to update the guest room. After a visit to Home Depot, 2 days my husband later was painting and finished. Incredibly fast and looks fantastic. Really happy with the new look and ease of paint and brushes. Now we are working on the DYI flooring from Home Depot.

Absorbs paint well and causes little/no splatter.

I have used these roller covers for several years now. They are great, long lasting rollers. They do not fall apart or leave fibers in the paint. They clean up real well with water when using latex paint and a roller spinner. They are a good value also.

3 pack is a very good value. I often have two different colors going at the same time and need multiple roller covers. This particular roller cover cleans up nicely and stays in good shape when stored in a sealable plastic bag. The roller cover did a great job on the wall surface using semi-gloss water-base.

We just purchased a new house and we have tons of painting to do! These roller cover apply a smooth, seamless coat of paint. Best part, I can wrap them at the end of the day in plastic and they are good-to-go the next day. In all honestly, they last up to 2 weeks like this! (If you have ever washed out a roller cover, you know it's easier to just throw them out and start your next painting day with a new one) We have designed graphics on our kitchen walls. With frog tape and these rollers, the job was easy and the graphics are perfect!

This is a great roller. The coverage was even and provided a a solid color to paint my accent wall! I love how it turned out!

This roller is just an average. I used it with Petit Z Sparr Higloss paint on the hull of our 45 foot wooden yacht. It did roll well but after I was done, I realized it left little tiny hairs on the hull. You have to be close to see it.

Used multiple times- cleans well and rolls well

Excellent roller pads. Like these better than the Wooster's I bought. Great finish!
