This 4' X 9' bamboo panel in dark chocolate looks to be as advertised. I hope to use this in a wet environment so am nor sure how the backing will hold up to moisture. The backing is a loose weave fabric which is glued to the bamboo. I'll have to do some testing to see if it will hold up to moisture. Also, I need to check to see if the bamboo dye will run. However, it appears that this product is certainly good for it's intended use on an interior wall.

Got the 48 inch by 96 inch bamboo panels in dark chocolate yesterday. Installed it this morning. Could not have been easier. We have front facing windows in the master bedroom that look out onto a covered and semi enclosed porch. We wanted an easy to install yet inexpensive for the inside half wall on the porch. It looks great and bamboo is a great, durable choice that is provides quality without costing an exorbitant amount. I it looks great and having a half wall provides privacy while allowing us to sit out and enjoy the col evenings of spring. There are so many uses for this product. The bamboo comes on a cloth like fiber backing that makes cutting to size easy and makes installation both easy and fast. I definitely recommend these bamboo panels.

I used this bamboo paneling to create a wall accent in my living room, it turned out to look amazing. The quality is excellent. I will buy it again to cover my bathroom cabinet door.

I had seen some Bamboo Tambour used as a ceiling in a beach house in NC. It was about 1/2" wide and quite fine. This is ~5/8s and not so refined. It's very useable and well attached to the cloth backer. I'll be using in a motorhome that needs something other than the wild west saloon look.

Fairly easy to install. We did a privacy screen and fencing around pool pump. I loved it at first it's beautiful then a couple months in it turned black. It is moldy and I hate it now. So we are scrubbing it. Not as easy as us think. Bleach or special cleaner made for bamboo ugh, not easy. Hopefully after it's cleaned we're going to seal it. So hopefully it will be ok looking when we're done but I'm unimpressed with this product. Changing color over time I expected but this is to fast and ugly. Especially when I paid over $1000 to do this and now It's just ugly.

I purchased this because it was on sale and I wanted to use it to veneer a celling. I was expecting natural Tortoise bamboo but when I received it, it had a heavy green tint to it. After searching around on the WWW I found out that every other place that sells bamboo has 2 variants of the Tortoise, natural / green. THIS IS THE GREEN!!! Home depot should change their description of this product so other consumers do not make the same mistake I did. If you want the Tortoise Green this bamboo is very nice and easy to work with. I had to deduct 3 stars hoping that new customers would read this review. It is by no means a 2 star product, It deserves 5 for quality and price if you want the Tortoise Green.

My needs were unique for this product. The personnel at Home Depot took time and helped find the exact product and color that would work and look good. Job Well Done!!!!!
