It works good. Keeps drywall and/or plaster dust at a minimum.

Good stuff. Cleaning out a warehouse that had areas where dust had hidden for years. Very dry black dust. Tossed out this Zep sweeping compound ( not a catchy name for this stuff) and it did an excellent job of trapping the dust. There was still dust but it was controlled. For the most part.

A little goes a long way. No dust when sweeping. Performed as described. Happiness.

If i knew they had somuch sand to the mix i would have just bought sand and poured water on it.

The Sweeping Compound picks up dust and binds it to the material. It is the same stuff that school janitors uses 50 years ago and it still works. Does not leave a mirror finish but great for dust and dirt

Good stuff, but I wish you could buy a smaller bag.

No giant dust cloud when sweeping debris from sanding the drywall. Made a huge difference.

Right out of the bag this stuff does not absorb anything. Place on a dirty garage floor it only adds to what I got to pick up. I bought it mainly to keep the dust down, and it totally fails. May have well used nothing.
