Very easy to install

The relay works great. This relay has the proper mA to activate with a Rachio 3 digital sprinkler system……even though Rachio will not tell their customers this works….it does.

Was afraid it wouldn't be up to supporting my 2 hp 240v Gould GT20 but it works just fine. Let's me easily integrate control of the pump and irrigation valves.

this relay did not work for me. i was replacing another brand and this one did not allow the pump to run even though my pump matched this specs. I switched to the same model i had previously and it worked fine.

I have had multiple failures of this item over the years with melting of the wire nuts at the connections to the switch. Currently trying a Rainbird unit that the larger wire connects directly into plates on the relay.

The original pump relay failed and caught fire. Fortunately I was home to put the fire out. The new relay was installed and the system now works perfectly.

We had a problem with the written directions which like many directions are written by someone who knows how to do it not someone who is doing it for the first time. I had to enlist a friend who had done it previously to add the key step about the wired connection to the timer.

Save yourself a trip to the store, check the voltage on any new irrigation box you buy; our old one used 110 volts, new one uses 24 volts. This one works well.

Pump Start box did not have hole ports on all four sides. This would cause me to drill holes in sides that didn't have ports allowing me to turn the box on its side to adapt to the configuration of the one I was replacing. It was also too large for the area it was being mounted. The Poor rating was because it didn't have the ability to rotate the box to adapt to the existing box location. Also the relay inside was not built to the quality of the unit that it was replacing.
