Easy to cut with a regular circular saw and guide. Used a heavy duty glue to attach to the cabinets. Had a small ding on a corner but turned that to the wall and put the backsplash over it. If I needed any more countertops I would definitely buy Thinscape again.

The countertop meets all expectation. It is easy to install.

Happy with material, but sink install presented a minor challenge due product being thinner than minimum depth of mounting brackets. Added small pieces of blocking to bridge the gap, which appears to do the trick.

Thinscape is very hard to trim and cut. Maybe it is the type of cutting blade that was used but it took a long time to make the cuts.

The countertop looks great, was easy to work and cut, and has no problem holding a fairly heavy double sink.

Pleasantly surprised to see the extra wall section of the counter top. I was not expecting it based on what I read and saw on the picture.

Trying to return this purchase. Go with a regular countertop.

Honestly, we regret this purchase and would not recommend it overall. It looks gorgeous (the black amani) but it's very difficult to work with. We found we needed to buy special jig saw blades (at $10 each) and also special drill bits, as normal ones didn't work. Since most undermount sinks do not come with Rotaloc clips, we couldn't use our sink with this product. I was hoping this innovative product was worth it, but it's not! (The black also showed lotion stains badly, which is annoying.)

Overall product looks good and seems like it will be user friendly from stains, etc. However, the first one we purchased had a crack in one of the corners, and one of the edges of the backsplash had a raised bump about 1/2 inch long and 1/16 high, so either it would not sit flat on the countertop and have to fill with extra caulk, or leave it on the top exposed side which would have been visable. Not acceptable for something at a $600 price point. Returned it and purchased differnt color (Black) and same type of bump on countertop, so installed that edge against the wall, and let backsplash cover it. They obviously have a manufacturing problem cutting the edges.
