It is more like a sheer than a shade. So thin! But that's not the worst part, it wrinkled up! See the picture - from top right to middle and another wrinkle on the right one-third from the bottom!

Website did not mention that product had metal endings on...
Website did not mention that product had metal endings on scroll bar. When cutting the metal deformed to such an extent that the end cap (part that is used to mount shade on window fixture).could not be reinserted. Could not unbend the deformation. Need warning to use industrial strength cutter for sizing product. Also need complete info on your products.

Hi Andrew, We're sorry for the unpleasant experience you've encountered. Our Tear Down Shades come with specific instructions to trim the width of the shades. Additionally we do not recommend cutting the metal rod which holds the shade. These shades can be cut with just a scissor. Next to impossible to get it to roll up.
I'm glad that the task I had in mind for this isn't as an actual window shade, because I'd want to be able to adjust that often, and this thing is next to impossible to get to roll up. Every shade of this type that I've ever had was easy to operate, but this one just won't unlatch and roll back up no matter how much extra tension I put on the spring. I'll almost certainly end up buying something else instead; this is just too annoying.

2 shades won't roll up. 1 shade won't stay down....
2 shades won't roll up. 1 shade won't stay down. 1 shade was cut too wide. 1 shade doesn't have the end piece so we couldn't hang it up at all. Very poor quality. I expected better from Home Depot. We plan to return them when we can. Which means we have to take them all down and find something else to replace them. For the first time ever, I am very dissatisfied.
