The Humidifier runs all day because my house is so dry! This helps keep the moisture level up and what a difference it makes in how we feel. Our skin isn't dry and our eyes are not itchy anymore. I have tried to turn it on high just to see how it sounded and it is noisy. But leave it on A for automatic and it isn't so bad.It will hit the medium level fan when needed but turns itself down or even off when it reaches the chosen humidity level.
It sits by my front door. If I leave the front door open for too long, it will switch to high fan and try to moisturize that cold, dry air I just let in. Amazing!

The filter is made of paper and does not have the support it needs. After less than a month one end came loose and ended up in the bottom water storage tank. Purchased a 2nd filter and the same result less that a month. The filter lacks support and if you take the top off for cleaning the old filter while wet can not be used, you will need a new filter. Design changes and a supported filter would make this an excellent machine.

Our house is a 2,680 SF one story rancher. It is long and narrow, This humidifier is compact enough to sit is a hallway and not be an obstruction. We like the easy water loading, easy operation, and it is relatively inexpensive.
The low fan speed is very quiet, medium is acceptable, and high is loud but we never need it. On the first day we ran the fan on on medium fan speed to hydrate up from 30% RH. By the third day the RH had risen to 40% and now the low fan speed maintains it. The unit is located in the bedroom hallway about ten feet from the master bedroom door and about six feet from the house return air grille. On the low fan speed it is barely noticeable. I check the water level twice per day and refill as needed. So far we are totally satisfied.

Humidifier is working fine.
Have been using this humidifier for a week now (mainly in the evenings). It works fine. I like its appearance. I have it in the the hallway just outside the three bedrooms. Adds needed moisture to my house (about 1700 sq.ft.). The water bottle is easy to refill.

It works well. The only drawback is the water reservoir. It is awkward to fill because of its shape and size. If you are weak and do not have a deep sink, you will fill this in a bath while bending over and trying to balance it. Also there is no easy grip on the bottom, top when filling, making it very hard to pull out of deep sink or tub.
