For the cost, it isn't too bad. I did have to try it two separate times. I tightened the first one on as tight as I could hand tighten it, and I think I even used a pipe wrench to twist it a little bit further. That was probably not necessary. The next time I tried it, I just barely tightened it on, and it was fine...no leaking.
I don't plan to move it around a ton though, because I'm not sure how well the joints will hold up to lots of movement.
Overall...I'm happy with it!

Did the job and got it on a flash sale for half-price. My height-challenged wife can now reach the adjustable showerhead. While this shower arm won't solve the Middle-East crisis, it will extend your shower head and give you the ability to move it up... and down. Pretty fantastic.

Very sturdy rather than plastic feel to it. Would prefer radial position adjustment where it attaches to shower room. Liked it enough to buy another.

Dissolving Lock Posts
The materials used to make the posts insidethe 2 joints dissolves through normal use. The shards of resulting metal then clog the shower arm and head. Inspection of the parts in question show evidence of scoring, pitting and metal decomposition.
