When I couldn't find any wood outlets to match my home for purchase, I bought one of this style, 2 coaxial plates, & 11 Hampton Bay 2 standard wall outlet plates. I stained them all in my favorite color & they look great! Durable, took the stain well.

I had pre pandemic red oak wall plates in my entire house. Fast forward, post pandemic couldn’t get this style for a 3 gang multi combo change. I ordered it, was hesitant of a match, BUT it was so easy to stain and looks no different than the ones I purchased 3 yrs ago, that were already stained. Takes stain well, evenly, and a light urethane coat fixed it right up to even match the sheen of my others.

Absolute garbage. It didn’t fit over switches so we had to carve away some wood and sand it down. And THEN the holes didn’t line up so when trying to screw into place it cracked in two places!

Perfect! Unfinished and was able to stain to match my bathroom decor!! Great quality.

I used these so I could paint them to match with my kitchen cabinets. That worked out well and the price was very good. However, there was a lot of sanding I needed to do prior - due to rough edges and splinters sticking out.

This Amerelle 180CX unfinished Alder wood coaxial wall plate looks really good. A couple of things stand out to me. One is that it is reinforced on the back with a metal plate to make it strong and prevent damage from overtightening of the screws. Two is the wood itself is solid with no cracks and looks like it will hold up well. The coaxial adapter locks in easily to the plastic plate. I'm very pleased with its quality and looks.

I bought these because we just did an accent wall in our living room. I threw a little espresso stain on them and they look amazing.

I love these unfinished wooden plates. The are more homey and just seem to make the room more comfortable.

Just what I needed & delivered on time. Also, easy to follow directions.

I looked at all sorts of combination plates and could only find one brand that had what I needed. The images of all of their plates are on the back of the package. Although not available in store, I could get them shipped to HD. I sanded and painted the wood, then used 5 coats of oil based paint and sanded between coats. Should last a lifetime of abuse. I will spray paint the screws to match later. The flash on my camera makes my imperfections show. You can't see any flaws from 2 ft away.

Product looks good at face but metal backing that is glued on was not aligned with holes in the wood. Also the thickness of the wood is to thin. Won't allow receipt to come forward through the holes enough. Again poor quality!!!!!

Have had custom-stained wall plates for years. With our remodel, we needed more to match existing. Unfortunately, Home Depot no longer carries this in store, so we had to order on line. Shipping and handling that doubled the cost of this item is the only downside.

I purchase two plates. One was made in Vietnam and the other was made in China. They looked similar until I finished them with polyurethane. They now look completely different which sucks. They're probably different types of wood.
