These wall plates look very nice on the wall and give my home an upgrade .

Instead of the pictured product, I recieved a brass switch plate featuring spots for two toggles, and instead of a space for a rocker (like pictured in the listing) it came with space for an outlet. Not sure if it was a mistake at the warehouse, or if this item is permanently mistakenly labeled and pictured. But Home Depot hasn’t made it easy to fix the issue. Please help! Ive otherwise had great experiences with Home Depot!

These plates were extremely easy to install and look incredible in the room! They really add an elevated decor! Much better than the standard white plates! Love it!

This pairs well with the other Amerellle products that we installed.

We had to remove a plastic, electrical box for a switch that was busted and no longer in use in our kitchen. We used this plate to cover the hole. We installed a new metal outlet cover adjacent to it, and now it looks great.

I ordered a bunch of these switch plate covers, and the 5 toggle switch plate cover is not the same color as the others. The others are a satin brass color, but the 5 toggle is more of a champagne color.

This wall switch plates was replaced in my downstairs bathroom. Part of the bathroom upgrades. Looks great.

Ordered online, and had it sent to the store. The order was filled pretty quick. Brought it home and it fit perfectly. It looks absolutely beautiful!! I definitely recommend it!

The edges had the black finish rubbed off.

As I install smart bulbs, I am removing some light switches. So, I needed to replace a two switch plate with a one switch and one outlet plate. Unlike some reviews, the screws included were the medium length screws and plenty long. My problem was the finish. It has numerous abrasions, and looks bad. Not being solid Brass, but a brass finish, I suspect it will look worse in time.

The wall plate arrived well wrapped and exactly as pictured. Took about 30 seconds to attach to wall and is very well made.

The screws that they send with the wall plate are too short to use. The screws in our other switchplates are 4 cm; these were 3 cm. Useless.

Easy update to your older wall plate. The 1-toggle wall plate is metal with a brushed nickel finish. It was very easy to install. Since it is metal, you have to be careful that you don’t scratch it with the screwdriver during installation. It’s amazing how a simple update is so noticeable on a wall that you look at everyday. I’m going to go get some more to replace the others in that area so that they match.

I have to say Amerelle makes a nice ( and affordable) product. I wanted this brished nickel wall plate ( matches the hardware in my master bedroom) to change out an old basic boring white one. I like that this comes neatly packaged and ready to install. It is not overly heavy ( a plus) and it has nice, clean lines. It is an attractive addition to the room and I love it. ( it's the little touches that matter with decor)

The wall plate was a great addition to any room. What stands out most is the excellent detail and heavy sturdy make of the wall plate. It was to add to a room that I already had some new gold plates for but as shown in photos there was a big difference in the quality of the items. The quality is exceptional and the difference in the two is obvious on sight. It was twice the weight of the original item and the detail far exceeded my expectations. The comparison to a similar showed me just how exceptional the quality is. I want all of the plates in the room from hampton bay! 5 star for sure

I needed this wall plate because I swapped out a duplex outlet for a GFCI outlet. The clear packaging allows you to see that the 2 flat-blade mounting screws are included - so there's no surprises when you get it home. The wall plate is made of metal. The finish is polished chrome. The picture on the Home Depot website doesn't seem to accurately convey the chrome finish but it is indeed polished chrome. At just over $3.00 US, I think it represents a good value. Although the wall plate carries the folksy Hampton Bay moniker, the product is, like most everything else, made in China.

This is not brass but steel with a brass finish. It looks good though. It is 2.87” wide by 5” long, which is the standard size. I normally use the oversize covers, which is what I replaced, but this one worked fine. I think it looks good against the dark red background of the wall. In the product overview on the web site it says that it has a lifetime warranty, but if you look at the warranty information or under the specifications it actually only has a one-year warranty. I would have thought for a metal switch cover they could warranty it for more than a year because I don’t know what is likely to happen to it when it is on the wall.

I'm adding these play covers to my shop. I think it gives it a nice professional luck. I like the fact that there made of high-quality material and hold up the cleaning very well. I like that I can now accept my house with items that have gotten more color and styles available. I am placing this over a black receptacle. I like the combination and thinks it gives my shop a little character

Metal, not chromed plastic, and feels like it, very substantial. Even using the single screw mount it does not distort or risk cracking as plastic ones often do. I comes with the mounting screw, which is coated to match the shiny chrome finish of the plate. And shiny it is, a mirror like finish which seems very resilient. I expect this to last a long time without corrosion or delamination.

This metallic heavy duty Hampton Bay 1 duplex outlet plate is made of Stainless polished chrome steel and looks great in any area that is going with the colors of silver, stainless steel or grey. It has a mirror finish on it and when I took the photo shown below it kept reflecting my rug. It is very simple to install with just one screw and only take about a minute to install. I can see this outlet plate will hold up better than the plastic ones that I had previously.

Great price for an elegant outlet cover. This Hampton Bay Metallic 1 Duplex Outlet Plate - Polished Chrome Steel has a very high level of polish that gives it a mirror quality finish as shown in the photo. The photo also shows the nice packaging that prevents the outlet cover from getting scratched or damaged during shipment and handling. I wish they made the same high quality in the electrical outlet itself, as this cover over an old outlet does not look as great as it could. But this is a very elegant cover at a very good price.

This Hampton Bay Metallic style Wall Plate will really add flash to your walls. It is made of steel with a bright polished brass finish that almost looks like gold color. It is a simple rectangular design with smooth beveled edges. The problem with this finish is it is reflective and shows fingerprints and smudges. It also could scratch easily. There are matching screws included and it installs easily with a small screwdriver.

I must admit, I’ve never had a brass finish light switch plate. Very sleek brass finish and would look fantastic in a room with a lot of brass finishes. I just wanted to try it for something a little different and I’m so pleased. Of course it’s a cinch to install and to keep clean simply wipe with a cotton cloth. The only issue I have is that the existing switch itself is the basic ivory color but it’s hardly noticeable. Includes installation screws with instructions on back of packaging.

I like this because it was easy to install and looks great against wall paper, giving it a sharp attractive upgrade look versus the standard switch plate. The matching screws are a nice touch, and it is large enough to cover over the older switch plate which can leave age marks or paint marks exposed. Easy to keep clean with just a simple dry clothe. Shiny brass always looks nice and fits most decors.

The Hampton Bay outlet covers are a great way to dress up your plain white outlets. The Hampton Bay designers offer a variety of colors, designs and choices to dress up your outlets. They are easy to change and reasonably priced so you can decorate items most of us don’t consider as an item to be enhanced. We had chrome in our bath mirrors so we went with chrome covers. Looks great
