We purchased this unit to replace an old tank water heater, which would only produce about 3 min of lukewarm water. We run strictly on electric, so gas was not an option for us. We are a two bathroom house, two adults and a child. People tried to talk us out of a tankless and suggested buying a new tanked version, but I am SO glad we did not listen to them! I can't give you the exact figure we have saved on out electric bill, it has reduced our monthly payment enough that it is more than negligible. The savings alone are worth the investment and that doesn't even count the constant flow of hot water. Great purchase, simple installation.

I hooked up my water heater a couple months ago and it was exactly what I expected since I already owned an Atmor heater in my other property. It works great and is plenty of water for my bath and half plus kitchen needs. After the electrical was ran, it was simple to hook up. You need to remember to check your breaker box and wiring because it needs three double 30 amp breakers and three sets of 8 gauge wires. The extra wire can be expensive depending on the length you need. Mine was $85, but I was okay with it since the heater was less expensive than others and since I replaced a 40-gal tank, I'll save on energy bills. The only downside is that the warranty requires a licensed contractor to hook it up. I'm not too worried because Home Depot is great about standing behind their products.

This being my first tankless water heater purchase, I was a bit skeptical on its claims of being able to produce instant hot water. Now that it's installed, I am so glad I decided to go tankless! My water heats immediately. No more waiting for the shower or sink water to heat up before use - I don't think I'll ever go back to using a standard water heaters again! Not to mention, all the money I will gave on my gas and water bill since switching to a tankless heater. The perks never end! The tank is very user friendly and easy to work, installation was simple, and a GREAT value. If you're skeptical like I was, just give this tank a try - you won't regret it!

This heater was purchased on sale for $299. Once the unit was installed, it works flawlessly. The installation required the use of 1" EMT due to the #8 gauge wire size requirement. The electrical access opening had to be increased from 3/4" to 1". Once that was completed, all went as expected. All in all, a very good value.

I own a smaller two bathroom home and really needed to free up some space in my utility room and the only thing that could be altered was the large electric water heater that was installed. The tankless and the tanked unit used the same voltage so no electricity alterations were needed. Mind you, I AMA alicensed plumber so I did find the job very easy and had it all done in less than an hour. I might take you two with no experience, common sense might get you through it, or hire a plumber for a few hundred bucks. With a wife and three kids I have had zero issues with meeting out demands. .

This is my third tankless hot water heater and this ATMOR product is by far better than the other two I have. The installation was easy and the product is very well made. If you are considering purchasing a tankless hot water heater I would suggest buying an ATMOR, I have a large house (3 story) with 3 full baths, washing machine, 2 full kitchens and they all get hot water in seconds, even the third floor. The other two tankless heaters are at my beach house.

We have had this installed only for a few days, but so far it exceeds our expectations. The construction of the unit, both inside and out appear to be exceptional. All the water handling is in copper and it uses brass fittings. It case is a heavy gauge steel which is neat and functional. There appears to be some confusion over wiring required. The label states AWG #4 and the instructions state #8. My electrician used #8 as that is the gauge that the fuses dictate. Other than that there were no problems and produces all the hot water that we require, keeping it within a few degrees according to the display no matter how long it is run.

Have this unit installed. Have a family of 4 with 2 little boys that love their baths. Is able to handle running a bath, a shower, dishwasher and the washing machine with no problem (we live in mid Florida). Now some notes. 1) you should be installing a isolation kit with this product so you can do maintenance on it. This can be found multiple places by just searching instant hot water heater isolation kit. The unit will need a pressure relief valve and most isolation kits come with it. 2) this takes 3 40 amp double breakers and 3 8 AWG wires. What would have been helpful when running the wire is the neutral does not need to be connected on the 18-27kw units. So you could get by with one run of 8ga 3 wire with a ground. I ran 2 8x3 with a ground and another ground wire to my breaker panel and I did not need to do that. 3) make sure your panel can handle this. In my home I had a 150 amp panel with a 1500sqft home. This panel would not have handled it and needed to not only change out my panel but also the line from the panel to the meter. This is an added cost but will make sure you do not have some electrical problems after the install. Anyway the heater works great and gives endless water .

The Thermopro tankless water heater works perfectly. I am using it for heating up water going to one bathroom and also a slop sink in my garage. Plumbing the unit is very easy with inlet and discharge ports. Wiring the unit is also very easy. Keep in mind that this is a 18kw unit, meaning that you will need 3 8 gauge wires linked to 3 30amp breakers. My house uses well water and my avg well water temperature is about 45 degrees this unit can bring my water temp to 110F with about a 2.0-2.5 gpm flow which is pretty impressive! (lower the temp more flow you will get). Overall this is very easy to use and simple to install unit. I will keep an eye on my bills to see if we get any cost savings.

This was very easy to install, just do your homework before you begin. Be aware of the power requirements. As easy to install as a regular electric water heater. I can not stress how important it is to understand the water flow requirements. You must spec it for your water flow and temperature of your water source or you will not be happy. There is a reason this unit has a spec chart. You must size it correctly or you will be disappointed. I am very happy with this product it is saving me a ton on my electric bill as I previously had a tank that was heating constantly.
