We enjoyed the fire pit last summer, and with the expense took great care to cover it after each use. The pit will be a year old in 3 days and it is peeling and rusting. The unit itself does not put out much heat and is more decorative than anything.

Horrible rusted on the lid and all around the fire pit area....flame is a joke and you can see all the elements...I will be returning only used once and bought in June.. so not years..

Assembly as not too complicated. Instructions could have had a little more detail. As a previous reviewer noted, the powder coating causes the screw holes in the legs to jam and strip the screw threads. I found by chasing the holes with an M6 tap before hand made assembly easier. The glass buttons in fire area are nice but there's not enough, AND Home Depot doesn't sell the same type. I'm still looking for another bag. The burner doesn't usually light after sitting awhile and it's necessary to bleed the line from the tank to the burner awhile before it will ignite. Last the controls are positioned a little too far back inside, making them hard to reach and use. Overall it is a very nice looking and solid unit, priced fairly. We are happy with it!

It's heavy while packaged so it's safer for two people to carry the box to where it will be assembled and used. Assembly was straight forward by following the directions. Looks very nice assembled and it's larger than I envisioned. Lots of room for glasses or plates to rest while enjoying the fire. It came with a cover which I didn't expect. In my opinion this is a very nice firepit table to sit around with family and friends.

I bought this is 2017 and used it twice and kept it covered and the top is completely peeled and rusted. At this point I need to give it away. Why the thin cheap plastic peel is on in the first place, who knows.

I have never, in my life, had such a ridiculous call with a company about a defective item. We bought this last year, and it was decent for the first 3 times of use. Then, 2 things happened. 1) It would not stay lit (unless you held the igniter) and 2) the flames were getting caught underneath in the main cabinet, not coming out of the top. Which is of course, BY THE PROPANE TANK. We could not seem to fix it ourselves, so we covered it up and didn't try again until this spring. We took the whole thing apart and still could not get it fixed. So we thought, we're not mechanics, clearly we need an expert to come fix this or use our warranty and get the defective part replaced. I just called the A-Z Patio company. This guy wanted to talk me through on the phone fixing it. After we have spent at least an hour trying to do this ourselves. What? I'm sorry, no, can you please send a service person out to either 1) fix this ir 2) confirm it is defective and send a replacement part? I was told "we dont have a service technician in your area." I said, well it's defective can you please just senf the part? I'm not seven asking for my money back. "Well, I haven't determined it's defective." So basically, this company is expecting me to fix my own machine over the phone, and this is what the warranty states? This is not customer service and is an absolutely INSANE expectation for a defective product. So I basiclly have a firepit that worked 3 times. This company is clearly NOT at the leve that Home Depot should be working with.

Live it, needs two peeps to put together or it’s a pain. But nice fire pit!! Would buy again.

The ignition switch failed to work after the second time we used it.

Love the fire pit, use it all the time and enjoy the ease of having a fire without the mess of a wood firepit

Great material and quality. Perfect backyard fireplace. Love it. Easy to use.

It was a gift to my son and his family. They are enjoying the fire pit every night so far. We are so happy we bought this one for them. The fire pit does need added fire stones since there isn't enough that comes with it but it still does a great job. Everyone is very happy with it.

This heater fits our patio fantastic and gives off plenty of heat when there is a chill. Can even roast marshmellows.

Disappointed package arrived and was missing multiple items to build. Sent an email to AZ Patio Heaters on May 18th as to getting the items that were missing and still have not received an email back or the parts to build the fire pit!

Panes didn’t line up properly and holes weren’t tapped on legs so I had to buy more self tapping screws to complete project

Flimsy, poor construction. Lid sticks due to everything not lining up correctly.

Bought this from Home Depot last week and took a little over one hour to set up. Directions could be more detailed, but got it done. Overall, not a bad quality unit for the price. BUT, one assembled, the unit is almost impossible to start. It works like almost every other propane unit by pushing the red button while pressing the knob in. It simply never starts. Once we finally got it started, it did work, but the next time we tried it, the same problem exists. I left service number three messages and have not heard back. Hope they can fix or will have to lug entire heavy unit back to Home Depot.

I was a little upset at first because they did not separate the different screws when it came. However the project was easy to assemble and ended up working out great. I also ordered the cover for the top of the fire pit and additional rocks to go in the fireplace. This product has worked really well so far and I am very happy with the purchase. The assembly might have taken an hour and some change not bad.
