The lattice was fine once it was delivered to home...
The lattice was fine once it was delivered to home depot. The store had it for over 3 weeks. They manually recieved it and didn't send an email to notify which held up the job. Very unsatisfied with home depot.

Combined with ginger dove screens to build privacy fence for our hot tub. Delighted. The design is somewhat open and these do not afford complete privacy, but we wanted light to pass through for vegetation, and love the aesthetic of these. Somewhat flimsy and require vertical support (we used 1" cedar) along the back side to keep from buckling or moving in strong wind. Would purchase again.

While its shape and aesthetics were what was desired, its material choice makes it a flimsy product with limited application without structural support for it. Rather than a hard plastic as expected, its performance is something between plastic and a hard foam. If you have a plan for how to support it within a rigid structure, it could have some aesthetic applications.

We returned this item, it was not at all what we expected. It was very flimsy and the designs were not dense enough for our use. It is not by any means a "Privacy screen", and for our use it allowed too much sun to shine through. The design was very cool though!

These panels were very wobbly. I bought the stands that go with them, but the panels were too wobbly to stand up in them. They would need to be secured against a fence, frame or a wall to be useful. Not sure why stands are available for them if they don't stand up in them

WORTH EVERY PENNY !!!!
After installing my pressure treated deck last fall, i let it bleed out till spring. I chose cedar red stain with black accent. But when i looked at that dull diamond shaped PT lattice i hated it and wanted something fancier that would compliment all the black. I chose this and i do not regret it. Its thick and sturdy yet simple enough to cut with a multitool. I absolutely love the way it looks and i cant stop looking at it.

It's been a few years now since we installed this product as a privacy/shade screen by a patio. We get compliments on it often, and it's withstood the wind and elements of SoCal nicely without any change at all. Since the lattice is somewhat flexible, it needs reinforcement along the perimeter and between panels when it's suspended between a pillar and wall as we did. We used metal and the vinyl strips for other types of lattice panels. It's easy to paint and there's been no peeling or chipping. We're getting ready to purchase another similar product for a screen for some mechanical lines beside our house.

Purchased 2 of the beautiful Ginger Dove design for an interior screen door we custom built (to keep the mischievous cat out of the master en suite without blocking the heat from our wood stove and without blocking the dog's view). Other reviewers have mentioned the panels are a bit flimsy, and we found they are even flimsier than we imagined -- a boisterous teenager or large dog could break or chew through it if they tried. We wouldn't recommend this for anything structural, just decorative (and we won't be able to use these panels to substitute for railings on a staircase which was one of our other project ideas). But it is easy to cut with a jig saw or similar, and the material and quality are consistent throughout. So far the cat hasn't tried climbing it, and we have an elegant solution to the problem. Still some trim work to do around the door as you see in the photo, but it has changed our life and the cat's -- we don't have to lock him up at night and we still stay warm!
