The Product is very easy to put together as it comes with detailed instructions , Very easy to use , non-tilting design makes it work even on uneven surfaces. It spreads the material evenly & the flow rate can be asily changed with the remote lever

  • Well made and should last

Tired of the cheap plastic spreaders with cheap gears? This is a serious unit. Metal frame, seems like solid gears, real tires. Assembly is a project..not difficult just took an hour. Only thing lacking is some sort of conversion table for standard spreaders like Scott's. that is just trial and error. Otherwise, great!

Pros Durable

  • Excellent spreading pattern, large capacity, stable on rough ground, relatively easy to assemble

Overall excellent good product for the money. Seems to be well constructed. Only negative is that when you stop pulling the spreader, you better make sure that it is closed otherwise a lot of material will drop out. Would be perfect if it had an automatic shut off when the spreader is not moving.

  • Bought to spread fertilizer and plant food plots

Good spreader for the money, for guys or gals planting food plots I would recommend. The opening will adjust wide enough to plant oats...some spreaders with 3 or more holes at discharge have a hard time with large seed. Shuts off completely, could probably throw clover seed and other small seeds....with discharge adjusted properly during assembly. Tow slow over turned land, could tip over, I had no problem with hopper half full. Over my years...planting food plots primarily this may be the best I have purchased. Note, plastic covering gearbox...I drilled a small hole into plastic housing to be able to spray lithium grease on gears without disassembly, cover hole with duct tape to make maintenance easy.

Just got this spreader had an old tow behind with a lousy flow control and narrower axle width and smaller diameter wheels. The Agri-Fab 130 is what I wanted in a tow behind spreader. Assembly took a bit but was not complicated, the step-by-step directions were very good. Spreader works great. The flow control I like and works well. I found it to be as stable as you can get on inclines etc. Tires have enough diameter to deal with curbs etc. Nicely designed and engineered. The material emptied right down to the bottom, no excess to worry about. I like the gear box cover to protect the gears so, maintenance will be easy. Would recommend to a friend. Love it!

i bought this a few weeks ago and i have used it several times for fertilizer and will use it this fall for seeding. as mentioned in other reviews the shape of the "bowl" could be just a little bit better. it does leave a small bit of material in the bottom. over all it works very well, and it seems well made. i didnt have any trouble with assembly, a little tedious but what isnt. now i am using a z turn and it wasnt made for them. i done some modifications to the off lever and that helps. i will do more when time allows. using the zt it is difficult to turn around to see how it is working and to see the remainder of material left. when i think of pushing a spreader this just seems great. i have 5 acres.

Purchased product from HD because they matched a lower price I found, thought quality looked good in pictures. Assembly was easy and product looked very good when assembled. Used today for first time and worked better than anticipated. Spread 35,000 sq ft in one hour including clean up. Shut off handle was easy to use and glad it was because I used often. Every thing went good, I had modified the unit slightly by taping (3/8-16) the spreader blade shaft and adding a wingnut. I think this helped keep the drop slot/hole from plugging up; there was clumps in the fertilizer I was using, it also cleaned out the hopper good. Thanks for selling a good product.
