i have a 1/4 mile + stretch of hard compct rock and clay drive way. although this item is built well it does need more waight and longer thicker digging teeth. after about three hours i wore mine down to the point they no longer touch before the blade does. but i can weld or make new ones. over all i like it and see lots of future use.

It does a great job of snow removal, leveling and back filling. Blade repositioning is easy.

I bought this to maintain my yard and driveway, it does real good on loose un-compacted soil and rock, hard clay and very badly compacted rock roads, not so much. Assembly was a breeze. It could also use a tray for cinder blocks for additional weight to make it dig in better

It will serve its purpose. Opted to build a custom hitch to better suit my needs on my 22 hp lawn tractor.

Order came quickly, right to our door. It does just what we want it to do. Recommend for small yard projects.

Great tool does what its suppose to do. I have 2 driveways 2A modified stone 400 feet a piece and 14 feet wide. I don't drag out the stone using the scarifier for that I turn them up. I like the fact that I can turn the scarifier teeth around depending on the job. I did not need any added weight and 30ton trucks roll on my driveway. The scrapers sides tend into the stone loosening it to pull the material out. I Like the fact that I don't need to pull out my big tractor for these kinds of jobs.Moving top soil is easy as well.

by the time you put enough weight on it to make it cut into the ground ( which is sand here ) the 54" yard tractor can't pull the it .

I contacted Agri-Fab regarding use of tubular frame as a weight tray and they stated in no uncertain terms that the frame is not designed for added weights. According to the manufacturer, the unit has no provision for adding weight. This is confirmed by the facts that the unit has no way of attaching weights and the owner's manual has no description of how to add weights and no information about maximum weight capacity. Use of tubular frame as a weight tray is an incorrect statement and should be removed. An explicit statement should be added that the manufacturer does not recommend adding weights to unit.
