Working Great. Certainly very effective

I needed a new exhaust fan for my 2 windowless bathrooms that did not sound like an airplane taking off but would "do the job". My current old fans were rated at "4 sones" (very loud) and this one was rated at ".5 sones" (very quiet) so I was not sure if it would work well. I decided to try one and see if it did the job. After it was installed I was thrilled that not only did it remove the steam from the mirror, but also any odors - both quickly and quietly. I ordered another one for my other bathroom. I also have the added light in two rather dark bathrooms. Talk about Win-Win!

Very quiet and relatively easy to install. Make sure to buy tape.

For the money, this cannot be beat.much quieter than rated. Audible but not loud in the least. Moves tons or air. our is mounted 7ft off the ground in a fur down in our bathroom. Directly above toilet. You really only hear the air moving and barely. The fan. I would say it's really 1.5-2 sone level

Makes a rattle noise. Also, light isn't very bright. Won't order again.

Thank you to Chrystal who did a review on this fan. I also had a old GE BF125EM fan that died and we were able to just replace the motor with this fan. Saving us having to replace the whole fan.

Easy to install. Seems to do what it is designed to do.

Decent for price

I got this bathroom ceiling fan to replace an old one when I was updating a bathroom. Installation is pretty easy for someone with basic DIY skills for the wiring and vent connection work. It looks great and fit in my existing opening. So far it has worked great and is pretty quiet. I don't have any complaints. There might be some newer fancier products out there but this will get the job done.

Nice fan. Works well, now that it is in. Not as easy as they made it out to be. If you are using an existing space (replacing fan in a completed ceiling area) and not looking to cut out new, it does NOT just snap into place. The installation information shows snapping into place with no ceiling.Had a very difficult time getting it into an odd/non-standard space.

It's slightly louder and less powerful than I expected, but it does the job and it's less noisy than my previous fan (which was built in the 70's.) However, the slim design fits in the small space that I had to work with. Overall, I would recommend this product.

Super quiet....

Easy installation and not loud but you can hear the fan slowing down when its turned off. Also, there is still quite a bit of condensation on the walls and mirror after showering even though I bought the recommended CFM for my bathroom size.

Fan is OK for the price, can't expect too much. Bought 2 for my bathrooms. One works fine, but does make a clicking sound when the fan is on. Not terrible but noticeable. Unfortunately, the other fan didn't work because the inside fan part was not able to freely spin, but I was able to return it.

This is a very quiet fan that was easy to install in a new build. It is a low volume unit so is adequate in our small bathroom, but may not work well in larger rooms.

This 80 CFM ceiling fan is good for a bath room or a work room not more than100 ft. Most of the parts like housing and Centrifugal fan is made of plastic. For Vacuum fan with Centrifugal design is much powerful to draw away the damp air from your bath room. It is much better than a fan. Of course the mounting frame and the motor is made of metal in good workmanship. To keep your bath room less moisture and mold easily, a ventilation fan to move away the moisture is good tool to be installed. Installation may say easy but still a bit of complicated work. You have to cut a hole on your ceiling and mount it close the beam to secure of it. A vent pipe is needed to connect towards the outside wall with vent cover. Unless it is close to the wall then you no need to have the pipe done. But don;t forget to seal all the joint with a foil tape. Lastly, you have to wire it to a on/off switch for turn on or off the fan. This fan equipped with a flip damper cover plate to close the exhaust at the housing. this will prevent the air feed back to the ventilation area. So far so good. For the price it is much acceptable at this range of bathroom ventilation fan. Oh, technically don't forget you must have minimal opening to compatible for the same flow of air for the ceiling fan at lower part of the door. Otherwise, you may not get the maximum performance of this ceiling fan.

I needed this fan in the workshop bathroom. The bathroom is full size as I like to shower after working and getting messy. Happy wife, happy life. Because I have a huge attic access in the shop this made the installation a breeze. The “snap-in” installation was even easier than traditional installation. Although noise was not my biggest concern I thought why not get a quieter fan rather than an really cheap noisy fan? Happy to say this fan performs flawlessly and even looks great!

I'm not a handy guy, but I eventually managed to retrofit this fan into the pre-existing ceiling exhaust fan space. 0.8 sones is quiet but not whisper quiet. The 50 CFM is adequate for a small bathroom. The backflow flap is flimsy but still rattled after installation since the 50 CFM seems not strong enough to keep it forced open while running, so I knocked a star off this review. Fixed it, but not ideally so. The light is actually better than I expected. The LED casts a "cold" light. Perhaps I can find a "warmer" replacement. More expensive than similar fans, but this is not an huge expenditure. Time will tell on the durability aspect. Made in China.
