the railing wood was smaller in diameter than what I already had in house, so I had to trade out a few other railings so they would match. Shipping to store took longer than I hoped, but Corona virus was to blame.

This is a low end wooden handrail and you get what you pay for. You may get away using it in an area such as an unfinished basement where all you need is a functional handrail and no one will really see it. It came in bowed and gouged in a couple of places. We had to do some serious sanding to prevent splinters in those places. It's good for what it is and the price is right for that purpose.

Good price, well sanded. I would give 5 stars but 2 out of3 rails had a slight curve. Should be stocked in the store so the customer can pick them out.

Even though the end of the hand rail was cracked...
Even though the end of the hand rail was cracked I was able to repair it. I have stained it to closely match our current rail and it has turned out well. I continue to enjoy Home Depots products. Thanks

Good material and finish. Cut to use in two separate areas. Came in a protective box so there was no trasportation damage. I would not hasitate to use this product again should the need arise.

In-Store delivery was prompt and the packaging was satisfactory, however the piece of handrail was substandard. It had a large knot and a blemish indicating poor handling. Fortunately, it was for my basement stairs and was satisfactory for that (and I was able to discard the part with the knot).
