Only had a month or two. Cheap materials, but looks great. The sound/pump are excellent! If you want something that looks good and sounds nice at a cheaper price, it would work for you. Would buy again. Very short chord, so more than likely will need an extension chord.

Surprising good fountain. It is plastic, super light and took a bit getting used to. Took sometime to get fountain level and secured to ground. I was going to return (just couldn't get over its plastic), but i get compliments on it all the time and the pump is powerful.

This fountain works nicely for me on my porch. The plastic base isn't quite flat, but I leveled it a bit using some flat rocks on one side. I know, very technical. I like that the water pours off of one side mostly, because I am hearing impaired. It's loud enough for me to enjoy it. Good price!

Poor quality in manufacturing.
The unit I received, from Alpine, obviously was returned previously. I should've stopped when I saw the pump cord was tied with string, even tho the actual wire string was still attached to the cord. One of the nuts on the pump housing was stripped and I had a hard time assembling the unit. It's assembled and working (for now) so at least the birds are happy.

Ok with some flaws
Nice piece. Must run pump low due to splash over. No way to replace pump if it fails. Otherwise ok.

Easy to assemble
It took only 5 minutes to put this together and it seems to be working great. The pump puts out adequate flow as long as its full. If its hot outside the water evaporates rather quickly so it needs to be filled often. Its only day 2 so we’ll see how it maintains.

Very poor quality
This fountain wouldn’t stay screwed together. When I put water into it, it leaned over and wouldn’t stand up straight. I eventually took the fountain part off the pedestal and set it on a small pile of rocks. It worked that way for a few months, and then died.

Received fountain and set it up per instructions, filled w/water...
Received fountain and set it up per instructions, filled w/water and added fountain chemicals to keep algae etc from growing. It ran for about 27 days and the pump locked up. The water had been kept well above required levels and fountain was checked daily. I had the same unit previously for about 3 seasons and it worked fine for that period of time. Current unit was returned and a refund made.
