I'm sure this microwave works great, it's been sitting in my living room for weeks out of the box and uninstalled when you pay $140 Home Depot to install it. I've been on 3 reschedules (all weekday afternoon hours with best time frame of "9:30am to 1:30 pm timeframe) and visits to install it, I highly recommend paying your own person to install the microwave. Still uninstalled. It looks good though, I know because it's out of the box and sitting on my floor because I guess that's the best effort. No worries i'm leaving it just the way you left it parts scattered all over kitchen. Thanks, highly recommend to pay someone else to install.

Loved my Whirlpool microwave but replaced with this Amana(same manufacturer). This one is sleek and there is no handle pull sticking out! YAY. Fit perfectly in the old space.

Great look and it was what I was looking for.

I've only had this for a little over a week, so I haven't used it that much (but it's been great the times I've used it.) I want to make a couple of comments, though. First, the picture of the white model on the Home Depot site makes it look like the window is white as well. It isn't. The window is black. That might matter to someone who's going for a particular look, Also, the microwave doesn't have (for lack of a better term) "speed dial" keys. Most microwaves let you hit the 1 button and you get a minute of time (or 2 for two minutes, etc.) This one doesn't have that feature. You need to press 1-0-0-Start to get a minute, 2-0-0-Start for two minutes, etc. It's only slightly inconvenient, but if I knew that before I bought it, I might have gone with a different brand. To save a step, you don't have to touch Time Cook first-just start with the numbers. The only specialty button I've used is Potato and it worked just fine. This is definitely noisier than my old GE, but that might vary with the particular installation. This microwave comes with the absolute WORST owner's manual ever. Overall, it's pretty good and I'm glad I bought it.

So sorry I purchased this microwave. We had it professionally installed by HD, and the mounting bracket is visible on the wall, and also has ugly screw heads showing right on the front. Wish we could return it! Learn from our experience and keep looking!

Amazing, such a great find on Thanksgiving weekend. We are very happy with the modern look and sleek design with no handle that my children can pull off. Great find 2 months ago and it has exceeded our expectations. My hubby did an amazing job installing. An easy weekend project for two people.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this microwave several weeks ago, and have NO complaints. Does an excellent job of reheating leftovers, defrosting frozen meat and I love the light feature. It also matches nicely with my other stainless steel appliances.

I bought this unit last year on Thanksgiving when Home Depot had it reduced I had it installed the following year when I had my kitchen redone is an over-the-range unit and it worked very well for the first three months then it began to cause problems with the door indicator light staying on and I had to be close the door also the Light inside the unit with flicker eventually the light inside would not go on when I had the door closed and would stay on sometimes when I open the door to unit would stay on very dangerous under those circumstances I would not recommend anybody buying this unit

Unit assembly was pretty easy. Works well but did not install outside venting..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using our 1.6 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave for a couple of months and it is doing the job very well! The only issue was the defrost was a little touchy and may have to do it twice but everything other than that is great. The price was fantastic. I love the look of it with our other appliances. Would recommend this highly.

So far, a great microwave for the money. It was a little bit hard to install as I had to remove tile, cut the tile and reinstall. Very quiet.and seems to be well made. Well worth the cost for just a simple microwave.

Comes complete in the box,Easy Installation and Setup. Works great, the push button is a plus because the kids always seem to break those cheesy handles off and the quality is good enough to match with your more expensive appliances in the kitchen. Great Product, Grest Job Amana!

This oven was easy to install ( owned a couple that were not as easy !!!) Has a very clean look and is fairly quiet. Does everything we want a microwave to do. Way too soon to talk about reliability.

Perfect for our requirements. The Old GE Micro Wave handle kept breaking and had to be replaced. This one is much more convenient to use when you have something in your hands,

Update to my 5/30/17 review. After six months of use, the interior light was intermittent. The attached video shows a 14 second delay. Then the door sensor became unreliable which prevented heating anything. Thirdly, if something was heated, the door sensor would be faulty again which prevented further use. A new keypad and door sensor were ordered today (12/20/17) by tech repair. FYI, no videos uploads permitted here. The interior light had a delay after door was opened. Heating again became hit or miss. This appliance became defective after six months. Manufactured in March '17.

The microwave was very easy to install . I like the one strip backing plate. Also it heats the food perfectly. Thank you Black Friday for a reduced price ....
