The window yall sent me today, was broken. I nees yall to change it for me or get a refund asap

Noticed cold air drift coming from windows and took a closer look. There are gaps between the window stile and side jambs that let a lot of air through. Not good when it's -17F outside.

These units are just pretty cheap. There felt weather stripping is loose, gobs of silicon at edges, very thin glass. I would not want to spend all winter looking through this thing or sleeping near it. Now the good. Shipping. delivery via FedEx was 36 hours, double cam locks are impressive for the price, user friendly installation, stock size inventory is convenient. As stated in the title THESE ARE ONLY GOOD ENOUGH FOR A NON LIVING SPACE(GARAGE/ATTIC/SHED)

Installed 8 windows professionally all with varying issues. The best is they don’t keep the outside noise out. The worst is seeing outside through the seams. I honestly have never seen such poor quality and am surprised Home Depot sells them. They should be removed. Sadly, I now have to have them professionally taken out (I can’t even build a birdhouse!) and new windows installed after paying to have these out in. I’m out a lot of money bc I didn’t read the reviews first.

The glass was dirty with glue streaks that i cant get off. Fingerprints were left between the glass panels and lots of little globs of glue. The price was reasonable and installation was also fairly easy. But the little globs of glue stuck in between the glass look aweful. And for that reason i would not reccomend.

There was mistake during assembly with the window glide not being installed properly—not sure how quality control didn’t catch this. The result is the window not operating appropriately, potential further damage to the frame, and a gap between the glass window and frame.

In New York State, the Energy Star Certification required for permit is: when a U-Factor is 0.30, the SHGC must be 0.42 or more. I purchased 2 windows from the N.Buffalo store (which they had 4 total) with the U-Factor of 0.30 and SHGC of 0.29. This is a rating for warmer climate (south of Pennsylvania). Home Depot is allowed to sell you windows that will not pass for permit. I feel sorry for anyone who has purchased these already and installed them. They must think it’s a poor product, it’s not

manufacture or someone needs to check the windows for any extra silicone or glue that isn’t suppose to be part of the window. now i am tasked with having to remove this or return and wait another 2-3 weeks for a new window. what if i damage the glass trying to cut it off? what is are ways to remove safely?

Window came with bad welding on corners, you can see the weld line over conections plus many connections are not align.

This window was ordered and picked up within a week - super fast, it was extremely easy to install and looks great. I plan on buying 5 more in hopes I can get them installed before Winter.

I picked up these windows in February and had them installed in April. Now the grams on the windows have cracks and the frame around one of the latches has cracked. Now when I call to see what can be done I am hearing it is all up to the window manufacturer because Home Depot will not do anything. DO NOT BUY THESE WINDOWS!!! A poor value because for what you pay you are throwing away your money. I will have to replace with new windows at my cost. Never buying windows from Home Depot again.

Please note the website mentions a U-Factor of 0.30 but the actual tag show 0.33, this might not be an issue for most people but when your city gives rebates based on U-Factor of 0.30 and under this does not qualify.

Interior Condensation along the middle of the window as well as the bottom of the window. This is happening on both of the windows I purchased.

Excellent window well worth the money.

Home Depot said these were rated for northern climate and due to covid shortage's I had to buy American Craftsman and Jeldwen windows on 2/13/21 it was -38 below the American Craftsman windows had 1/4" of ice on them none of the Jeldwen windows did

I have never in my life installed windows...... but I installed four myself. First one took me a lil bit to figure out but the second and third and so on got easier by the window. I got to say that I’m impressed, I love the way they look, how easy to install myself. They were worth the money and I’m still buying these same ones....... I have ten windows in my house. Absolutely love love

I bought two American Craftsman Series 70 windows in 39.75 X 54 size. (I bought 6 Jeld-Wen windows at another store and bought these at Home Depot because they had the size I needed in stock. Bad choice.) First off, they are NOT Energy Start rated for the North Central US (Iowa). Craftsmanship is shoddy. Silicone all over the glass. Bottom sash doesn't fit properly in track. You can see light through it. No way to adjust it. There is no accommodation for a sloping sill, so you'll have to figure that out and fabricate something yourself. On the plus side, they look nice installed. The "buck" frame makes them harder to install than need be. If I keep these two windows I will have to tape over the tracks in the winter to keep the wind out. JUNK. Expensive junk. I should have custom ordered two 40 X 54 Jeld-Wen windows, knowing they would be right. I'm incredibly disappointed. I'll never buy this brand again.

PUT THIS WINDOW IN MY SHEAD. WHAT A DIFFERENCE .KEEPS THE COLD OUT AND THE HEAT IN.WAS A GREAT INVESTMENT.LOOKS VERY NICE .

I felt they were of good quality when I picked them up from Home Depot. I installed ten windows in June & July 0f 2020.It is now December 2020 and the temperature is now 37- 45 degrees. During this time I have noticed that on half of the windows that were installed, there is considerable amount of condensation just above where the window's locks are. It appears that there is an air leak when the window is fully closed.

This windows was perfect coming out of the crate & installed like a dream.

I purchased this window thinking that it was going to be at least mediocre quality but it wasn’t it was worse. You can actually see the outside from the bottom sides of the window because the only thing keeping air out is a small strip of white fur like material which lets air in. The window was installed by a professional so installation isn’t the issue. I picked it up cause it was available off the shelf but I should of just waited the few weeks wait from my regular window provider for a quality window for the same price. This belong ms in the trash.

These windows are the 70 series which is the next step up from the cheaper 50 series, so I was expecting more from this product. After installation which didn’t take long, I noticed that I can see the daylight through the bottom part of the window on the sides. And no I didn’t screw them tight as to cause this. The only thing separating the window from the side of the window is a fir strip and you can see through it! Never again

Poor quality and craftsmanship. There's silicone around most of the windows and blotches of it across the windows. They just look like cheap windows but for the high series price.

I purchased 14 of the American Craftsman 31.75 in. x 61.25 in. 70 Series Pro Double Hung White Vinyl Windows. I have been building my home (for 4 years now), I have been seeing water on the window wrap inside at the bottom of my windows, I thought I had messed up installing them. NO!!, they leak in the corners at the bottom, if it rains enough my drywall gets wet!!!!!! It seems that water enters somewhere on the flat base at the verticals. I am glad I hadn't got the trim installed early on as it would cause my wall to rot out with lots of mold.

Love my new windows , easy to install , no problems at all , now we will see when the fall gets here will I still feel the same

No when your Management team to whom I spoke relentlessly to send an associate as promised from the local Home Depot 4640 Adams to collect the last Window of the three from my home and my new purchased order of three windows arrive and meet our specifications both in measurements and quality I shall in good conscience furnish my review (today is 06/13/2020 I yet await) .

Good product, have used in the past, easy install, happy customer. Will buy again.

Worked well. Quick install with sturdy window frame with nice features such as tilt out and bottom frame adapter for angled window sill installations.
