Purchased 16 windows about 15yrs ago for our 125yo home. Noticed immediately that they were draft free, easy to clean and reduced the road noise from outside. However, over time these windows have not held up as we had hoped being that for us it was a big investment. Starting a few years ago several of the windows started to get cloudy on the inside, between the glass. We suspect that over time the argon has leaked out. We are now contemplating replacing them once again.

The windows are really good quality and easy to install. I have never installed replacement windows before and these are easy to install.

This comes with variety sizes that fit most of windows in my house. I choose this since I can do it either way from outside in or from inside out. After remove the old window and leaving the frame, I just take the RO measurement and order window with smaller size; less 1/4" wide and less 1/2" to 3/4" height. I did it from the inside. It helps a lot on the 2nd floor which 10ft high up from the outside. There are some minors issues on this window: some stickie black sealant here and there on the glasses; the corner joint uneven.

Frame fit was good but 1/16" gap between jamb and sash is un acceptable. Already had one HD window implode at my own house and was told the warrantee doesnt cover glass!!!

A while back I decided to try to install windows myself. Little tricky at first, but now I'm on window 13 and 14. Almost done with the entire house. Once you get through the first few, install is pretty easy. The interior trim takes longer than the window install in some cases. The windows are not perfect. In fact, one of the first things I do is take a sharp utility knife and trim off all the imperfections on the corners, this helps with install. Overall, I'm happy with them and plan to buy 4 more to finish the house. I read reviews that state the windows don't stay up, this is most likely because the side screws have been inserted too far during install. First time installers, go to youtube to get tips on proper install.

Easy to put in. Looks good inside and out. When I need more windows I will be getting the same type.

Ok. First off, you get what you pay for. They aren't the super duper expensive units, but they work fine. That being said, these windows are pretty decent for the money. Installation was easy and they look good and open/close without an issue. I purchased one (at first) to replace a 100+ year old single pane wood window. I had to modify the opening a bit for height, but that was MY CHOICE rather than spend a few more $$ and wait 2-4 weeks for a custom size. It works well and functions perfectly fine. It's been a couple weeks ( Early Oct 2019 ) and we've gone from 60's to low 30's and I feel no drafts or air filtration ( with the old window I'd see the blind moving in the wind ). So happy with the 1st install, I actually purchased 2 more to replace other windows too, since they had them in stock at my local HD store. Only thing I can add is to make sure it's SQUARE and LEVEL. That is the key to a good installation. Luckily, our home is old ( 289 years ) so it's settled and everything is pretty much square to start with.

The window was perfect fit,and condition. Operates with ease, this was the last window i needed. They look wonderful, wife is happy aswell.

I bought these for my attached garage. They were very easy to install and the instructions were very clear, but you have to read every word. It took a while, but was not technically difficult and easily accomplished by a first-time DIY installer. Taking out the old windows and prepping the opening of course were the hard steps, but once the opening was ready, the job went quickly with no mistakes. The windows work very smoothly and came out looking quite nice. It's my personal preference that I would not install vinyl windows inside my house because they get a lot of use. But, in the garage these vinyl ones look good and seem very air-tight. The attached photo is of course before I installed the trim, but even at this stage they were fairly air-tight. For the price, I'd say they are quite good value.

I ordered two of the "American Craftsman 23.75 in. x 53.25 in. 70 Series Pro Double Hung White Vinyl Window with Buck Frame and Grilles". They were delivered yesterday, and I installed them yesterday. We have installed six other American Craftsman 70 Series windows in our home, but this is the first time I ordered online and had them delivered to our home. The packaging was impressive, wood & heavy-duty cardboard crates with a ton of padding. The windows were in perfect condition. Installation was simple but easier than most because the windows I was ripping out are 60 years old and falling apart. This installation was a little different than the others I've done, we have a double pane picture window in the middle. It didn't break during installation of the new windows on each side which is awesome. These windows provide great weather and sound insulation and look great which is why I keep buying them.

Bought 4 of these to replace old metal grid windows in my 95 year old concrete block garage. The hardest part was cutting / prying out the old windows and patching the openings with mortar mix. The windows are a "snug" fit and after trimming them out with PVC quarter round they look 100X better than what was there! They were packed extremely well although 2 of the sash lock tabs were bent. They are easily removed and HD said they are sending replacements. I would probably get a more expensive window if they were going in the house but these are perfect for a detached garage.

As a replacement widows I believe quality is great. I used this to renovate my garage windows. Easy to install. Finished with pine board as trim. Came well packed and very reasonably priced. Free delivery to home was very useful.

This was my first replacement I have ever done and it went pretty well using this window since the size was almost perfect for my opening. I guess its ok for the price after looking it over but the quality of some parts is in question. The one thing that doesn't function well are the balance covers. They want to slide when the window is raised and lowered. we'll have to be careful when we do this. The other thing that bit me in the bottom is that I didn't even notice until I had the darn thing in was that the outside grid color is gray instead of white like the inside. I can't believe I overlooked this. Fortunately it is in a rear facing bathroom. I am going back to Home Depot and checking the other windows to see if this is how they all are. If so the next ones I get will not be these and I have planned on buying new ones for the whole house. I can't believe they sell these with white interior grids and gray exterior grids. Makes no sense. This was my test window to see if I could get it done. Installed 9/8/18 Took about a half day with tear out of old and installation of new.

We loved the window and the service but a piece of the window was missing.

So much headache! If you can thoroughly inspect these in the store then it might be okay but They did not have the size we needed in the stores. I have had many windows shipped and they are not manufactured well. One had the button on it backwards so it would not stay latched in the window and just fell out so we had to return that one. So far three have had broken tabs so the window will not stay up when you put it up. Also one of the windows was delivered broken which is nobody’s fault really because accidents happen but I’ve had to return so many windows. When you are doing a whole house this is so time-consuming. I wish I could just order windows and get a good quality product. I already installed several windows before noticing the broken bits and pieces. If I could do it over again I absolutely would not order these windows.

Easy and fast to install it

I purchased this window to match the others for my renovation, it is the top window in the attic and it is better than the other windows we used. It is higher quality at a lower price and it was very easy to install. I am considering using this product for my future projects. Overall i am very satisfied with my purchase.

Read the warranty exclusions - basically anything bad that happens (aging leaking gas, etc) NOT covered and a single replacement panes cost almost as much as a new window. Don't expect more than 20 years out of these windows - really disappointed.

Vinyl seams were either not touching or were bulging with mastic. Installation instructions were impossible to follow as were the online instructions. Overall, this window lowered the bar on cheap quality and even worse information exchange in the form of installation instructions
