Sturdy and well made. We found these to be the best at this price range. One tip when installing, make sure you don't force nails on nailing strip too much as it can knock the window fram out of square making it hard to raise and lower the windows. We had to undo 2 of our 6 to fix this error on our part. Now raises and lowers very easy.

Do not but this windows. I replaced all windows in house with these. About 10 windows developed cracks on them after a few months. This windows are not worth the trouble.
