The tub seems fine and arrived in good condition. However, I did not realize that the soaking tub was the whirlpool version without the jets. So there is an unnecessary access panel which I do not like. My Jacuzzi in my first home had a panel like this one and it turned yellow over the years. Also several inches of the bottom of the tub is wasted to make room for the non-existent pump and motor. I understand the cost savings of having one mold for both tubs, but I don't like it.

The panel on skirt, if it were a spa would be usefull, just a soaking tub should have a solid skirt, also the $90 overflow that you have to use moves around if you push on it. Afraid to tighten tighter for fear of cracking or breaking overflow.....

after having 1st tub go on back order and 2nd arrive extremely damaged we settled for this as to not hold up bathroom any further. There was a crack on the top lip that I was able to hide with tile. For $500 the tub should be flawless. The drain is also bored at wierd angle, not sure if by design. If I had a 2nd bathroom I probably would have ordered a 4th tub or perhaps gone with a steel to avoid headaches.

This tub feels sturdy and strong. It is an excellent soaking tub. However it is very deep. May not be great for young children or persons with limited mobility and flexibility. Looks great too!

We have not yet installed the tub but it seems to meet our expectations for the most part. Without being able to see it in person before ordering, the inside width is narrower than we were hoping for. The arm rests built in are bigger than we were hoping for.

I wish someone had told me I would need a special drain assembly when I ordered it. My plumber could not install it without that part and I had to reschedule.

The lip of the tub is very fragile, micro fractures were discovered and continued to expand. Had to return it to the store. Very disappointed.

LOOKS GOOD HAVE NOT COMPLETED CONSTRUCTION YET

So very happy with this tub, what a great replacement for the permanently stained old cast iron monstrosity that came with the house. The most difficult part of the installation was the removal of the old tub, sheesh, what a job. This tub is surprisingly sturdy and feels substantial without having the weight of cast iron. I love the bright white finish and with proper care I should get many years of use from it.

The American Standard EverClean Deep Soak Bathtub is a great bathtub for soaking. It's a regular sized tub but the overflow design lets the water level to be raised by three inches. This allows for a deeper soak. The backrest is molded and very comfortable. There are also molded armrests. An antimicrobial additive is incorporated into the piping to protect from mold and mildew. Great feature!

I was looking for a nice deep soaking tub that fit into a standard 60" tub space. This tub does fit that ticket, but there is a reason it is less expensive than other tubs of this depth. The front panel/skirt comes separate from the rest of the tub and is next to impossible to install. The instructions make it seem like it should be simple to install, but they don't work. We had to go out and buy additional brackets and figure out how to get the skirt attached ourselves. Also, the tub requires an extra deep drain attachment. We purchased one from the hardware store that should have fit, but the specifications on the tub were off so we have to buy additional plumbing pieces to get it to fit propoerly. Overall, the manufacturing of this tub is poor and makes it difficult for homeowners to install. Unless your willing to put in extra work to figure out how to propoerly install this yourself, I wouldn't recommend this tub.

very pretty but very easy to mess up the acrylic. Just be careful not to drop any of your tools in it while installing.
