After 5 years this hose will not pull out and I pulled it apart to fix but it literally is stuck so far in that it is impossible to pull out. There is something in there it is hung on and it cannot be disabled in the body in order to correct the issue.
Coated plastic is the worst material to make a facet out of that I have ever seen. Why can't I just find a solid old fashioned faucet that is durable and works.

I self-installed about two years ago. Thought a durability report would be helpful. The faucet functions very well. The switch to change between stream and spray is large, but even so because its underneath sometimes you press in the middle and get a "combo" spray stream. I was actually prompted because today I noticed the wrap around the sprayer extension hose was completely frayed apart. All the plumbing is centralized in a main pipe inside the faucet body, and its tight so the hose rubs the same spot every time you pull it out (the same amount because of sink size). The hose is not leaking, but I speculate its only a matter of time. Also, there is apparently a leak where the faucet body attaches to the face plate on the sink. Although I wipe the area daily some corrosion has occurred. Perhaps this is due to my installation. But be aware of the potential. All in all this faucet will have a life span on par with the price. I'm guessing I have about three more years until the extension hose leaks, or the corrosion gets too unsightly ( like if I sell my house). Hope this helps your expectations (see pics).
We wanted to upgrade the faucet in our new RV and was very unhappy with the choices at Camping World Dealership. Cheap,Ugly, all plastic and very expensive. Got a very high quality American Standard faucet at a amazing price and we are so happy.

The metal braided hoses are built in and appear to not be replaceable. (Didn't take apart to find out.) This presented an immediate installation problem because they were too short by about an inch in reaching the valves. I had to spend about an additional $20 in fittings to extend the hose and adapters to make it work. The hoses are 3/8 compression and my valves are 1/2 compression. The photo is of the left hot side, the right cold has an ice maker hose adapter which allowed the hose to reach with a 1/2-3/8 adapter on top of that. The left required an adapter, short hose, 1/2 nipple and another adapter. I live 37 miles away from Home Depot @ 4000ft and was not prepared to drive back down the hill to get what was needed, the local hardware have limited inventory.
My sink is two tub stainless with three holes. For this valve system everything comes up through the middle hole. The chrome plated top cover barely covered the two outside holes, causing me to use extra plumbers putty to get the seal. So far it hasn't leaked.
Overall it's a nice unit and works great, just be prepared for short hoses and 3/8 compression connections. would have expected more of American Standard.

Thank you for your review as it is very important to us. We are very sorry for the issue you are experiencing and the inconvenience this has caused you. Our hoses are a standard length but some countertops are thicker than normal causing this issue.. Sincerely, American Standard Customer Care Tech Team
We installed this Jardin kitchen faucet to replace an ageing Delta faucet of a similar design. Installation was relatively easy once we had removed the old faucet and everything is included in the box for the installation. The Jardin faucet has a pull out style handset with a finger operated button in the handset that allows you to easily select between a 'jet' style stream and a 'shower' style stream.
There are a couple of suggestions from this experience - firstly it helps to have some 'Barkeepers Friend' on hand to clean up the sink deck area around the old faucets. In our case the escutcheon (deck cover plate) on our old Delta faucets was slightly larger than the cover plate that comes with this faucet. As a result, we had to clean off the old hardened dirty water build up that had accumulated around the old cover plate before we could complete the installation. The Barkeepers Friend was in the cleaning aisle in HD and worked perfectly for this along with a bit of elbow grease.
The finish on the faucet is 'stainless steel' however it is quite a lot shinier than the old faucet we were replacing, so be aware that this faucet doesn't have a matt brushed stainless steel finish.
On the installation side, it took more time to remove the old faucet after 12 years of use than it did to install the new one. The Jardin faucet can be installed in a single hole sink deck however in our case we already had 3 holes so we were able to use the supplied matching cover plate and sealing gasket to hide the additional holes. The faucet comes with all the connectors you need to connect it to the water supply outlets and these are about 20" long so the faucet can be located quite a way from the supply lines if needed. The connectors on the end of the supply lines are 3/8" so were a direct fit for us, but you would need to buy separate adapters if your supply outlets are 1/2".
The faucet comes with a limited lifetime warranty against defects in function and finish.
Pros: Easy to Install, Looks Great, Stylish, Modern
The faucet is easy to install and includes all parts - including nice braided supply lines. This was a direct replacement for me (updated chrome to stainless). The finish is nice - it shows prints less than our refrigerator. The faucet functions flawlessly - the pullout works well and the stream/spray button is conveniently positioned. A good faucet at this price point.
Pros: Lots of Features, Easy to Install, Looks Great, Strong Water Pressure, Stylish
I had several much more expensive units with pullout sprayer like this and none performed any better. Although basic and conventional in appearance, this unit does everything and the sprayer hose seems to need less space under the cabinet to work smoothly and properly. I hope to have this faucet unit for years to come.
The faucet arrived quickly. There was some damage to the box. But the item was ok.
Nice looking and easy to install. All the parts were in the box. Nothing was missing.
The instructions were clear and concise. It installed smoothly with no leaks.
The water pressure was good for both spray and stream and is better than the faucet it replaced.
We like it and recommend it.
