Doesn’t even suck down all the way when you press...
Doesn’t even suck down all the way when you press it. There’s like an 1/8th inch gap. All the other reviews say the same thing. Junk. Apparently the American Standard is a very low bar.

I am VERY satisfied with the product overall, the only part I was EXTREMELY disappointed in was the fact that it wasn't sold with the tub, or even mentioned that it was required! There was not even a single Home Depot associate that even knew it was required for proper operation of the tub.

Unfortunately this is the only drain that would work with my new tub. The first drain was not finished properly and had to be replaced. This one, the toe drain does not work properly as other reviewers have said. It's a design flaw and there's really nothing you can do about it.

Terrible drain
This drain has been a problem for us. Installed in our new home about 4 months ago. Worked ok at first, after about a month it began leaking throughout the duration of the bath. Unable to tighten, just spins. Very obnoxious sound the entire time bathing.

So far we are good, first few times you could hear water draining when it was pushed down. Open ...
So far we are good, first few times you could hear water draining when it was pushed down. Open and closed it a few times and the water stayed put. Now no issues after multiple uses. No need to worry if you accidentally hit it that the water will start drain, it takes some pressure to click it open. Overall happy at the moment.

I was so excited to use my new American Standard tub with this pop up toe tap drain. And guess what!!! It doesn't work. It won't keep the water in the tub. I will be calling them on Mon. Very disappointed.
