It's round. It's wooden. It's the greatest thing since the invention of the stick.

Simple but serviceable. Closet pole can be unexpectedly expensive. While I would not suggest using this product in a six foot closet, it is more than adequate for a typical three foot span, at a fraction of the price. It is ridgid, consistently strait for short runs and can be readily painted if you so desire. If your purpose is more utilitarian than it is a fashion statement, this item is well worth consideration.

A clerk was available to assist me with this purchase both in millwork as well as the register both very pleasant and very professional

Does what it's supposed to

Dowel was not true to size. Returned and purchase a different one that was true to size

Nothing special about this, used it for hanging clothes on hangers in a storage room. Bought it with brackets. Wood was smooth and straight except for a small amount on one end which I cut off anyway. (Didn't need all the lenght for my project.)

Needed closet rod for hanging plants across 2 windows...

Very Sturdy.

Used as a closet bar. Just what I needed
