Had issues water in my flower garden for years due to old gutter systems. this has solved that issue very well. would recommend as a great product

Fit perfectly and covered the expansion due to larger eave/downspout on the new gutter system. Connected to the underground disposal system with the flex part like it was made for it.

Works great!

Features that stand out the most is that it expands to my desired length What I did like is that it is green which lead me to spray paint it white It has been one week that I have had it Yes, it has met my expectations

Our gutter downspout used to send water into our garage until we put the brown downspout attachment on it. Now the water heads away from the garage so the garage stays dry now. Very happy with this product!

These downspout extensions are just what we needed. We recently had our home re-sided and changed from brown trim and gutters to white. I needed the extensions to match the gutters and provide an extended water run out. I went to Home Depot and found these extensions. It was an effortless install and we are very pleased with the results.

One day during a relatively severe rain storm, I heard water running in my cellar. Odd, I thought, as my whole house had gone through a complete remodel a year ago. I went downstairs to the cellar, and much to my dismay I found water gushing through where the cold water delivery pipe comes through the foundation near the floor. I went outside, to discover that the gutter downspout terminates in that corner, and the contractors never made any type of provision for proper drainage away from the house. With my mind in emergency mode, I quickly ran to Home Depot, and found this Flex-A-Spout White Downspout Extension. Just the thing, I thought; at least it may help. I came back home, and in the pouring rain, installed this on my downspout, fully stretched out, so that it would divert the gushing water away from the foundation. I came back inside, and after a short while, the gushing water downstairs ceased, and now my cellar is safe from flooding, at least from this downspout. I highly recommend this!

This downspout is very heavy duty but is very easy to work with. I was amazed at how flexible it was and how easy it was to extend and retract.

This down spout extension worked great! It resolved the problem perfectly.

The downspout extension worked well. Because of the tight surroundings of the existing vertical downspout it took a little modification (trimming) to fit extension. To complete the project I need to add a second extension.

I Put downspout on the house and now i need a good rain to see how it handles waterflow and see how long it lasts but it looks durable it was very easy to install and looks like it will be a reliable product but time will tell.if it works well then i will replace all other downspouts on my house. The ones on my house are probably older then dirt lol

This downspout extension is vinyl. It won’t corrode as would a galvanized downspout, and it won’t permanently bend, as would aluminum. It’s 27 inches long, and can be stretched to 53 inches. It can be used simply to extend a downspout by its length. Or it can be bent — its corrugated section allows you to put a semi-permanent bend into it, so that the downspout water is diverted away from the foundation, a good idea if you have water coming into your basement, or even if you don’t, for water can freeze and damage your foundation. You can bury it so that you won’t trip on it. You can even put two or three bends into the corrugated section, as in the photo below. The ends are different sizes to fit over various downspouts. The large end is 4” x 3”, and the small end is 3½” x 2”. The vinyl is paintable — we use solid stain, so you can match your downspout color, and match the ground color if you wish. This is a useful and easy-to-install downspout extender.

I am pleased with the purchase of the downspout extension,it looks better and is safer than the heavy cement hazard sitting there.

I used the green downspout extension on the side of my house. Because of it's flexibility and strength I was able to devert the water from my main gutter back under my deck, this required two 45 degree turns in the flexible downspout. I was able to attach the flexible downspout to the gutter on one end and the other round end directly into a round plastic PVC pipe under the deck. This took the water 10 foot away from the house and you can not see the PVC pipe under the deck. The only other way of deverting the water would be to cut a hole in my chain link fence and you would be able to see the 10 foot round PVC pipe. I will take better pictures from under the deck if I would win. It's like a crawl space under the deck,

I added it from gutter to my rain barrel to collect more water from rain to my rain barrel .you can adjust it long or short as needed. very easy to screw to the gutter. easy to adjust it long or short. easy to move right side or left side. very flexible to move either ways. love that color to match my house color coordination.

These downspout extensions provide an easy to install, flexible alternative to aluminum or rigid PVC. The product comes collapsed to an overall length of roughly 26 inches. It can be expanded to an overall length of roughly 55 inches or anywhere in between. They can be bent into almost any configuration. Two or more lengths can be combined, if needed. What I did to combine two extensions was to cut off the unused end of one extension and squeeze the now round end into the larger 3' x 4' end of the second extension. There is a clear marking of where to cut the end off. I'm not sure if that is the recommended method but it seemed to work better than trying to connect both 'like-ends' together.

The pieces were easy to cut and piece together and are working well.

I have this installed on the back side of my house attached to the drain spout so the water is drained away from the foundation. As you can see from the photos the pipe can be extended bent or angled so it is very versatile. I gave it a four star rating because when I extended it there was a hole in one of the ribs but it's not a deal breaker. The pipe also has a large end and a smaller end so it will fit different size downspouts.

This white downspout is the perfect answer for the problem at the corner of my barn. Since the downspout was never finished, this piece completes the job. I simply slid it onto the bottom of my downspout, and made Two bends to divert the rain water away from the corner of my barn, thus eliminating the erosion of the gravel at the base of my barn. The flexible downspout is is a hard plastic with a middle flexible section. As came be seen in the attached photos it was easy to bend it to the shape that worked best for this condition. It has Two different size ends, one for standard home gutter systems and one for larger commercial size downspouts. It is marked at each end where you can cut it to attach to other accessories.

I had to make 3 trips to Home Depot for my cement pavers and each time the customer service was excellent, they not only pulled all the pavers but loaded my car each time. I wanted to take them home to help unload it, but I knew I was pushing it. My back yard had been a dirt dust pit, no grass would ever grow, and with 3 dogs they were carrying in all the dust with them. Now I have a wonderful patio, no more dirt and I laid them myself. I was looking for something like this ever since I moved into my new house. the down spout went directly onto my deck and this product worked great to keep any water from damaging it.

We bought 2 of these hoping to stop flooding in the basement after heavy rain. Easy installation. No more basement flooding!

Very easy to install value is great for budget wise

Much easier to work with than a metal downspout-love that it is flexible-and lightweight, too!

I ordered 2 of these Flex A Spout to see how well they worked. They are awesome I need more. These Flex A Spout comes in white and green. They stretch out and they can be angled any way you need. They fit well on to my metal eve droughts and the rain pours out of them much better then the metal smaller kind that most houses have. I also feel with the large opening the leaves will not get stuck in them like the metal kind do. They are easy to put on and take off if needed. I have never seen these Flex A Spout before in any store. Thanks home depot for having these.

These became completely brittle and break into pieces or just crack on their own after ONE year here in Minnesota. Even in shady areas. I bought a set of 4 of these twice a couple years apart and it happened to all 8.

They perform as expected. I would suggest suppling 1 or 2 sheet metal screw to be able to attach to the down spout.
