Although she does not live here, my wife’s mother does often stay for a few days and whilst here, she used to struggle to use the knobs that we used to have on the drawers due to her arthritis in both hands. These Edge Drawer Pulls are the perfect solution in relieving the pain and stress of having to use her fingers. Now she just uses the edge of her hand under the protruding part of the pull which is 1-1/2 deep by 7 inches length which is plenty for the edge of her hand to slide under to slide the drawer open. But however, be aware that they will not fit easily onto every drawer. The edge of the wood needs to be at least ¾ of an inch for the lip to sit snugly. My modern drawers are reinforced that makes the inside edge go down only 9/16ths thus making the top that should be fitted snug on the top, not so snug at all. Fortunately, the drawers on the kitchen island are ideal and so moved the neediest utensils there. The pulls themselves are excellent, highly polished and well made.

The AMEROCK EXTENT 8-9/16 in. (167 mm) Polished Chrome Cabinet Edge Drawer Pulls are a really nice way to show off your wood faced cabinets by not "getting in the way" like traditional knobs & handles, it's a very clean contemporary look. I used some of these pulls a little differently than most folks will as well as for the traditional door front (see pics), let me explain. I installed pullout shelves in my new homemade mudroom & pantry wall & floor cabinets and needed some kind of pull, as you can see in the pic below these pulls are the perfect solution, traditional pulls would look silly! They help keep items from falling off of the sliding shelf and the front doors can close all the way. They are easy to install with 2 screws (included). A few things to consider, first make sure this style of edge door pull will fit your cabinet style (it will not fit recessed doors or doors that are too close together or have a lip) be sure there is enough space between two doors that are side by side or above & below each other. The high mirror polished finish shows really finger prints, so here's a tip...when grabbing the pull keep your thumb off the front. This will take a little getting used to as many of us automatically grab the knob or handle with the thumb and first 2 fingers. Also you have to be careful with long and or sharp fingernails reaching for the door pulls that you don't scratch the front of your cabinets. I found that using the side of my pointer finger to grab with was the best solution. The pulls themselves are very well made and sturdy and should last for many years. This is a beautiful cabinet/drawer pull. SPECIAL NOTE: These pulls are designed for over the edge installation on drawers or doors. (see photos). The countersink is on the back of the pull. They will fit on a multitude of drawers. The overall length is 7 7/8". The finger pull is 3 7/8" and the finger space off a nominal 3/4 inch drawer is 3/4". It comes w (2) 3/4' wood screws. The only tool necessary for installation is a Philips head screwdriver. The pull weighs in at 2.7 ounces. The distance between countersunk holes is 4 9/16". The quality finish is a Satin or Brushed Nickel and goes beautifully with my matte black cabinets. 5 stars for quality and ease of installation.

Very nicely finished. I really like the black chrome. The pull itself gives a sleek modern / minimalist feel to cabinetry. The edges of the pull are nicely relieved with no sharp edges - feels really nice to the touch. For appearance, I feel that these pulls are best suited to 3/4 inch thick full overlay Euro style cabinets or to cabinets with inset doors / drawers. For inset doors and drawers you would most likely have to mortise the edge of the door / drawer so that the pull sits flush with the edge of the drawer/door. This is something I would do anyway as I feel it just gives it a more finished appearance. These are great pulls for a new cabinet hardware installation. These are very elegant pulls with a high end modern look. If you are looking to replace hardware, you need to consider what you are going to do about any holes left in the drawers / doors from existing hardware. I have used a lot of Amerock hardware in the past and have always been more than happy with the quality / price point.

THE AMEROCK EXTENT 4-9/16" POLISHED NICKEL CABINET EDGE DRAWER PULL IS VERY WELL MADE AND ATTRACTIVE AS WELL. THESE PULLS WILL ADD A NICE MODERN LOOK TO YOUR CABINETS OR PIECE OF FURNITURE. THEY ARE VERY EASY TO INSTALL AND NEEDED SCREWS ARE PROVIDED IN THE PACKAGE. IF YOU DONT HAVE PRE-DRILLED HOLES IN YOUR CABINETS I WOULD RECOMMEND PLACING THE PULLS WHERE YOU WANT THEM AND MARKING THEN PRE-DRILL YOUR HOLES. THE EDGES ARE POLISHED SMOOTH SO NO WORRY ABOUT CATCHING CLOTHING.

Using this product on new cabinets with challenges, corner mounted dishwasher, needed pulls that didn't protrude out too much as to hit the washer when you opened the door. Worked perfectly. Gives cabinets whole new look, pulls also don't hook your clothes like some of the other Styles. these pulls have a beautiful satin modern finish that makes the cabinets pop!

This is an easy handle to install. It comes complete with the screws and has an excellent shiny chrome finish. The installation is very straight forward. The screws are inserted from the back into countersunk holes. The end result is a comfortable grip handle which can be mounted vertically for a door or horizontally for a drawer. The look is clean and modern.

High polish and shine. Prefect weight, no too heavy and not too light, yet quite solid and strong. To no fault of the product due to its high polish it does collect fingerprints easily, but such a good size cleaning is a breeze with any given mild soap and water. Extremely hard to illustrate the color as the handle picks up every single color in the room, which is a good thing. The color is a true nickle, golden silvery. Comes with two screws that likewise strong and of good length - this matters because a bad, think screw is and can be troublesome after a short amount of time.
