The door is excellent, easy installation, very elegant looking, very satisfied.

This door was easy to install and came with all hardware except the door handle. It is beautiful and sturdy. We are very pleased.

These doors were so easy to install because they arrive pre hung! The hydraulics are stiff but should become smoother with some use.

It looks great and was pretty easy to install. You just need a drill, screwdriver, step ladder and a level. It came out perfect. I would definitely buy it again

Bought for replacement. Protective packing and high quality built material. Instruction is clear and I was able to install it without help. Only concern: those plastic spacers were so difficult to remove that I was afraid of scratching the door frame.

As with every project something are unavoidable. I have to add a piece of wood to the latch side so the screws wood be attached to wood. The door looks good but on the hinge side it looks like a splash of welding. It is not completely painted and I believe at some point will began to peel here. What should I do?

The hinge on the closer rod broke. it is poorly made. Many customers have the same problem. they charge $9 shipping. Didn't feel comfortable giving credit card information over the phone; in particular to someone overseas. Andersen need fix this.

Custom ordered 36” x 96” for our 8’ tall entry door - arrived in 4 weeks. Install was not hard other than the weight and size of it. Took about 3 hours to install. Impressed with the insulating air space vacuum seal it creates between the entry door.

We love our new Andersen door so much. However, our kitties love it so much more! The full view allows them hours watching birds. Home Depot was right there every step of the way from measuring to installation!!

An excellent storm door and a good value. Easy to install. We are updating a 100+ year old home where everything is "non-standard" and our 85" door height was a problem. The new Anderson fit perfectly and we removed the old door and installed the Anderson in about 1.5 hours. We love it.

Love the door however they should note the critical dimensions on the box. I.e when I installed it my door handle hit my main door lock. Had to drop the storm door and put in a filler strip on top

Great looking door easy install for handy person I don’t see any flexing while opening and closing and closes smoothly no slam.

The door was easy to install with comprehensive instructions and diagrams but the quality of finish left a lot to be desired. The quality control needs to be dramatically improved before the product leaves the manufacturing facility. I encountered two problems with this door which could have been easily avoided with more care and attention to detail. Firstly, the vertical weather strip on the inside of the door on the handle side was not secured in the channel and would slide out the bottom when I opened the door. I had to resort to gluing it in place at top and bottom. Secondly, I could not adjust the sweep fin on the bottom of the door because one of the screws did go through the slot in the channel., I had to drill a new hole in the bottom of the door to line up with the sweep channel slot.

Love this door. It has weight to it, so it is sturdy. The Home Depot tech was professional and courteous. He installed me door quickly and professionally, and cleaned up after the installation. My dog and I love our new door.

The door and hardware are good quality and the installation was not real difficult

The door frame was easy to install but the piece of trim on top that holds the glass in is a nightmare. I still haven't installed it! One day when I have time I'm going to have to call Andersen for help.

This door was a replacement for a previous Anderson Storm Door I'd had for years with no issues. So I thought nothing to order another one. I purchased the door online for pickup by the installer, took him a little over an hour to complete the installation, and looked so good! I enjoyed the look of the door from the inside and outside, looks like a part of the door package. I loved being able to keep the front door open during the rain, having the ability to watch the rain during the day until water started pooling at the front door on the hardwood! The water was dripping from the top of the door between the trim and the actual storm door onto the plate at the bottom. Now every time it rains, if I am home, I have to place a towel at the door to catch the leaks and the wood at the door is ruined and will have to be replaced. Sadly I waited so long for a replacement door and now I have to repair yet one more thing in my home!

It toke me 45 minutes to put the door in that was good and a day to put the lock on , I couldn’t get the handles to turn the right way . After looking at video online decided to do it the opposite of the directions and it worked . Thank Anderson you made putting door easy but need to work on the door lock assembly!!!

This potentially great storm door has a very small, but fatal flaw, the clamp that holds the closing mechanism to the jamb (see pic) is way too thin, making it way too easy to bend/break. Within days of installation, the wind caught the door pushing it open beyond it’s intended capacity bending the clamp and the part the where the hinges connect to the door. Replacing just the clamp requires purchasing the entire closing mechanism. Once replaced, we had to be vigilant with even the slightest wind. But with young kids…well, it happened again. Just one gust will do. Were the clamp made of thicker gauged metal, it would likely withstand the pressure of a gust. But it’s just way too thin. We thought of installing a third party spring-loaded chain, but the retractable screen would be torn by the screws that hold the chain to the door. So, we’re screwed. We will likely have to replace the whole door.

Very well made and sturdy for big winds. Extremely happy with purchase!

We love our new glass door. Install was easy , door knob was tricky but we got it ! Looks good and hopefully we will enjoy it for many years to come!

Door fit perfectly and looks even better!

This is an easy storm door to install even for beginners as long as you know basic skills and literally within the 45 minutes as the instructions suggest. Now for the bad part, the retainers seem cheap and will probably crack when I switch out the glass panel for the screen when the weather warms up. I have also noticed that the bottom pin that holds the closer onto the door seems to work it’s way out of place and has bent the slot that it sits in. The metal was easily able to be bent back into place. The other dislike is the fact that when the sun is really bright out and the main door to the house is closed it seems to get really warm between the storm door and main door and when this happens it causes the grease in the closing mechanism to off gas or give off a foul odor, but as soon as you open the storm door it dissipates. Overall I am very happy with the door and the glass can withstand my kids banging on it with toys and their hands. I may have to leave the glass insert installed year round until my kids are old enough so they don’t go thru the screen though. The door looks great and works as it should. Very Happy.

The door was very easy to install and looks classy. Doesnt look cheap.

Just had my new all glass storm door installed and there appears to be a haze all over the glass that will not come off. I’ve tried Windex and even alcohol but it will not come off. My previous all glass door did not have this problem. Anderson considers it weather related and therefore not their problem. It is not moist, it is not condensation. It is a haze. It came this way. Instead of a nice clear glass door I have spent my money on second rate quality and cannot recommend Anderson.

I'm very pleased with the finished product and hardware. The door seals very well and solved a leakage problem, installation is clearly explained and took about an hour. My main and only complaint is the inside trim pieces that hold the glass should be mitered at the corners instead of butting up square and over an inch too short. This made for a very unprofessional appearance at the corners on the interior view. I can't believe Anderson cheaped out for the butted trim fitment on what is an otherwise excellent product. I might just buy replacement trim for a larger door and do it myself. The handle set was top notch and very well made.
