Great improvement on the 90 degree elbow for landscape piping. You still need to expand the opening, but the threads pull the elbows in for a tight fit. Install a hose clamp and this will last 25 years in ground. Reasonable price

This connector is made well and easy to install on 3/4 poly irrigation tubing. Apollo crimp connector needed to properly secure to tubing.

If i could give it a negative number I would. I have been in the water well pump business for over 25 years and although I do not like using poly pipe for pump systems there are times that i have to repair existing systems. I prefer to use metal barbed fittings i have used the grey sche 80 and never had a problem. It was a weekend and my suppliers were closed and i was out of stock so the dreaded trip to Home Depot it was. They no longer carry the old style and only had these fittings. The spiral barb on most of the fitting gives water a perfect path to cause a leak. I tried every trick in the book and no matter what I tried they all leaked. Three hours later and re-plumbing of the entire system into pvc gluing it I was finally done with a non-leaking system. Never again will I have anything to do with their fittings.

Twister fittings are easier to install and ultimately service. This particular fitting was used in a watering system, to replace a bend in an otherwise flexible drain line. In this situation, the hose would otherwise fold under vacuum.. When legislators tried to arrest me for trespassing on my farm: I moved my roses, string beans, and chili peppers.. to the city to be grown hydroponically. CA failed to rescind solar tax credits, and the excess power was ravaging the grid.

Bad fittings. Easy to insert, impossible to seal. Diameter is too small. Get the gray insert fittings from a sprinkler supply store.

Part may be fine, its homedepot website incorrect suggestion to use with 1inch poly pipe, it did not fit

I had installed two of these blue barbed connectors and was digging both of them up the next day since they had both cracked and leaking terribly

Price is great. Tricky to get the poly tube on. Poly tube is prone to leak on this if removed and reinstalled.

The newer thread in feature is thumbs up. Easier to put together plastic pipe systems.

these are terrible. I think the diameters of the small threading are smaller than the big threading and therefore have no bite on the pipe and do not hold. Even with clamps. pull these from the shelf and go back to the normal ones. I would gladly pay 20% more. and after it failed 3 times I would gladly pay 2000 % more. good idea for install bad idea for longevity

I don’t know how well the fittings work, because I couldn’t use them. For every nominal size of pipe fitting, there are actually two size: IPS and CTS. The description didn’t say which these are, so I assumed they were CTS. They’re actually IPS. The description needs to be edited to say that.
